My duties include fueling boats, handling financial transactions, selling goods, and performing opening/closing retail store procedures. Apprentice Student Carver, Sutherland Secondary School Aboriginal Student Support Program, 2012/2013 Worked alongside Squamish Nation carver Ray Natraoro, to create a design and carve a welcoming pole that will be erected in a traditional pole raising ceremony in Fall 2013 at the school. Volunteer, Squamish Nation Summer Fun Program, North Vancouver, BC Summer 2012 Assisted the Summer Fun Leaders to deliver safe and fun recreational activities for school-age children. This involved engaging with staff, children and parents in a positive manner. Volunteer Cook, Squamish Nation Amalgamation Celebration Summer 2010 Grilled food for a large community event. Volunteer, Catching the Spirit Society, Spirit Steward Program Summer 2009 Participated in environmental initiatives, community service projects, and games to preserve and promote environmental stewardship such as restoring gardens, and building beaver fences to protect vulnerable trees. Grade 9 Service Award for outstanding service to Sutherland Secondary School, 2012-2013

Activities LEADERSHIP: Student Leadership Council Member at Large, Sutherland Secondary School, 2011/2012 and 2012/2013. I helped plan and deliver student activities and events such as school dances, pride and spirit days, and fundraising bake sales. As a Public Relations Committee member, I created promotional materials including posters and fliers to advertise events.

Skills

PERSONAL: I am outgoing, energetic, patient, and have a positive attitude. WORK HABITS: I can work diligently in a group or on my own; I am also reliable and a hard worker. COMPUTER: Proficient using PC computers in a network environment; Able to use Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer; I am also comfortable using social media including FaceBook. INDUSTRIAL DESIGN: I completed courses in woodshop and art metal, and have used a variety of hand tools and machines including table saws, two drill presses and lathes. OTHER HOBBIES: I enjoy soccer, camping, cooking and baking, swimming, fishing, and hunting.
