    *Scene from episode 1 opens with a visualization of a nightmare Eren is having, with him waking up in shock shortly afterwards* Eren: *gasp, followed by a short moment of unsteady breathing* // [drowsy] Huh, Mikasa? Mikasa: We should head back. Eren: [drowsy] Why are you here? Mikasa: Were you in a deep sleep and think you're still dreaming? Eren: [drowsy] No, I think I was having a really long dream. *sits up* What was I dreaming about? I can't remember. Mikasa: Eren, why are you crying? Eren: [drowsy] Huh?

    (scene from episode 7 where she is pumping up the recruits who have all seemingly given up) Mikasa: *puts her hand on Armins* Armin. Armin: (sniffles) Mikasa: Take a deep breath. This isnt the time to be emotional. Armin: Heh? Mikasa: Stand up. [calling out] Marco. If we take out the titans around the HQ, we can replenish our gas supplies and climb the wall. Does that sound correct? Marco: [confused/hesitant] Yeah But even if youre with us, theres just too many Mikasa: [assertive] We can do it. *Marco gasps, worried* Mikasa: Im strong. *she puts her blade up* Stronger than all of you. Extremely strong. I can kill all those titans there. Even if Im alone. Youre either incompetent or youre spineless cowards. *she turns the blade towards them* How pathetic. You can sit here and suck on your fingers. Yeah, do that.

    (scene from episode 7 where Eren goes to Mikasas childhood home and kills one of the kidnappers. One of the other ones is still there however, and throws him against the wall and starts strangling him) Eren: [choked] Fight!! You must fight! If you win, you live. If you lose, you die. Kidnapper: [angry] What the hell were you thinking, brat?! Eren: [choked, in pain] If you dont fight, you cant win! Mikasa: (gasps) *picks up a knife* I cant do it! (voice overheard as the scene freezes) That moment I remembered, Ive seen this scene before, over and over again. (brief pause) It was always happening right in front of me. But I pretended not to notice it. (another pause) Thats right. The world is merciless. // That moment my body stopped shaking. From that moment on, I could perfectly control myself. I thought I could do anything. [whisper] Fight.. [louder whisper] Fight.. [scream] Fight! *she screams out as she runs forward with the blade into the kidnappers back*
