    LEGAL COUNSELING Ramil F. De Jesus Introduction The advice of a lawyer is as important as the advice of a doctor.

    A doctor may save life through his advice of taking the right medication to a patient, and lawyer may also save life and money by giving the right providing advice on what specific course of action for a client to take. Legal counseling is the art of giving advice and information concerning solution of a legal problem arising from a given facts and the adoption of appropriate reliefs or remedies under the law for the satisfaction and enforcement of legal obligation before a judicial or quasi-judicial body. The world nowadays is very diversified but the law profession and the giving or providing legal advice will not be suffer obsolescence since relations between individuals involves the application of appropriate l;aws. The practice of law is not confined in the court room battle. The practice of law is not limited to the conduct of cases or litigation in court. It embraces the preparation of pleadings and other papers incident to actions and special proceedings, the management of such actions and proceedings on behalf of clients, and other works where the work done involves the determination of the trained legal mind of the legal effect of facts and conditions (PLA vs. Agrava.)
