Davis & Elkins College is an independent, four-year [iberal arts college afliliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) that stresses small classes and strong faculty-student interaction. Release of
Repeated Courses
Courses in which a student receives a 'D' or 'F' grade may be repeated tbr credit. Courses in which a student receives a 'C' or higher may only be repeated with permission of the Dean of Faculty. Repeated courses are graded and the better ofthe two grades is used in calculating the GPA. The replaced grade is
(not including courses taken on a credit/no credit basis) during that semester with a grade point average of3.6 or above on a 4.0 scale are placed on the Dean's List. Summer school is excluded from Dean's List consideration.
