What is Favoritism?

Unfair treatment of a person or a group on the basis of prejudice. An inclination to favor some person or group. The disposition to favor and promote the interest of one person or family, or of one class of men, to the neglect of others having equal claims; partiality.

What is Fairness?

The state of being fair, or free from favoritism or self-interest or bias or deception Conformity with established standards or rules Ability to make judgments free from discrimination or dishonesty
