We start the physics course with mechanics which deals with questions like where something is, how fast and in what direction it moves, how its motion changes, what causes it, and some consequences of the answers to these questions. How change in direction affects motion? What does the motion graphs tell you? What is the difference betwen instantaneous speed and average speed? How to select the suitable motion formula to solve kinematics problem?

Students will be using graphing softwares, datalogging for their IAs. Also, students wil be using plagiarism.com to check the autenticity of their works.
This topic emphasizing the use of spreadsheets, data logging and computer simulations in lab work and teaching.
Improvements to be made
Shows more simulations, need to pepare students prior to lab day and not letting students to slow down the class Need to assess relative motion more and need to consider the timing for the test.
