LESSON PLAN

Focus : Time : Enrolment : Theme : Topic : Language Arts 8.45 9.45 am 30 World of Knowledge What Is In My Classroom? This lesson focuses on language appreciation. The main focus of this lesson is getting the pupils to respond to the rhyme, using non-verbal gestures as well as recite the rhyme. 4.1 Pupils will be able to enjoy and appreciate rhymes, poems and songs.

4.1.1 Able to enjoy nursery rhymes, jazz chants and action songs through non-verbal responses. 4.1.2 Able to recite nursery rhymes and jazz chants, and sing action songs with correct pronunciation and rhythm. By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to recite the rhyme learnt. 2. Teacher shows the lyrics of the song first. Teach the pupils how to pronounce each word. 3. Test Your Voice! - Teacher leads the pupils to sing again together with the tune.

-Song entitled Wheres My Things (Appendix 1) -Lyrics is on the Power Point Presentation (PPT) -Tune is based on the original song of Row Row Your Boat -The tune is play through the speaker. (Appendix 8)
