This 4.75" x 6" Grip Mat is from Waffle Flower Crafts. This grip mat is designed to hold your cardstock in place when stamping, stenciling, blending, adding embellishments, and more. This mat is made from high-quality photopolymer which is quite sticky, so no adhesives or glues are needed to make the mat sticky. You will no longer need to use tape on your cardstock either. This mat can be used in place of the black foam piece in the mini-size stamp positioning tool (sold separately). This mat has guides below and above the mat to help in placement when needed. If the mat becomes less sticky over time, simply wash it with mild soap and water. This mat does have a transparent sheet included which should be used when the mat is not in use.
NOTE: Low spots and air bubbles are normal and should not affect the mat's ability to grip. Avoid contact with foiled images. Avoid contact with sharp edges and abrasive materials. Some inks and pigments may stain your mat, but it will not interfere with the mat's ability to grip. This mat is made in the USA.
I am using this in my Hampton Arts Stamp perfect stamp positioner tool. It is a little bit bigger than a mini Misty, but this equipment is perfect for it. I also use it for smaller, die cuts that need to be inked or chalked. (yes, I am one of those weirdos that still chalk). Lol The Mat is easy to clean and use, but can’t be difficult to pedal off the stand positioner tool. Take care when you remove it.. I absolutely love not having to use magnet.
I love this mat. I bought the Misti mini sized one because I was sceptical about its performance. I immediately bought a larger one once I tried it. Now I can have one for my desk surface(glass) and keep the little one in my mist. I have 2 other popular grip mats, but this one is my favourite. Waffle flower grip mat performs how I expect a good grip mat to perform. Satisfyingly simple.
Love these Waffle Flower grip mats, they are so useful in the Misti and on their own.
I've bought a variety of grip mats over the past couple of years, but none has been really satisfactory long-term. This one is fabulous! My only regret is that I didn't buy a bigger size. Living in Canada, the price of a larger one was a deterrant, but I'll end up buying one since I've so happy with this one.

I have this mat in my small Misti. It holds my card stock without using magnets. I kept breaking my magnets, so I love the grip mat.
I was so excited to receive my new mat, however when I opened the package, I noticed that the mat had been used. It had what looked like powder on it in some areas and only on one side. The other side was clean.

Does this simply get placed in the Mini Misti or do you have to �install� it some way? Can it be removed if you either aren�t happy with it or need to? Can you still stamp using both red rubber and clear stamps?

It simply gets placed in the Misti (get correct size for your Misti). You just simply take it out if you don't want to use. I haven't used it with red rubber stamps so can't answer that. I really like it. It can be used alone without placing in the Misti for stenciling, inking etc. Whenever you want your cards cardstock to stay in place.
