These VERY thin magnets are perfect for my projects. They stay "together" very well through several layers of paper. Unlike some other magnets, they do not "stick up" since they are so thin. I'm going to order more!
I got these to use as fasteners, instead of velcro which are rough and sometimes too stuborn, for crafts such as boxes, box envelopes, small albums, journals, and interactive cards. I don't think these are intended to hold cardstock in place on stamping platforms. They are not strong enough, but just the right amount of hold to keep paper projects closed & stable, and for little hands or arthritic hands to separate.
Strong slim magnets great size for crafting. Vakue for money.

I needed replacement magnets for my stamping platform. They are not strong enough to hold a single piece of paper in place, let alone card stock. They are thin, however.
These magnets were way too thin and it took the whole package to hold down a piece of card stock. I think it needs much bigger magnets.
