This embossing folder is really beautiful and makes a fabulous background for a card. Love it.
this embossing folder makes a pretty and deep impression on card stock.
Sizzix has the best 3D embossing folders of any available. My only regret is this isn't a 5 x 7" folder. It makes an explicitly 3D image without tearing the paper and it's easy to gild or distress. I recommend all of Sizzix 3D embossing folders to all my crafting friends.

This is my first purchased 3D embossing folder I bought after I bought my Gemini. Dummy me I tried putting it in with too many layers of stuff and it jumped and tore my self healing mat. This folder seems to be one you have to reall pare down. I think it was too thick for my 2 base plated. I seem to remember using 1.base plate and the skinny plate. It misses going through by itself, but it seems like it is almost thick enough!

At this time, Spellbinders does not have a plate to make the 3D embossing folders work on the Platinum machines. However, they may have one in the works!

Is this like a regular embossing folder? Someone mention in an answer it�s 1� thick. Is that correct? So it�s super thick like a Bigz die? I�m confused. Will it work in my Gemini Jr.? Thx.

This is a 3D folder so it is thicker than normal folders. This folder is for use with the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines only used with a single Cutting Pad and the machine's included Platform.

Can this folder be issued with Vintaj big kick machine on Vintaj brass metal blanks?

Unfortunately, since this is a plastic embossing folder inside and out it is not recommended for use with the Vintaj brass metal blanks.

I have the same problem. Folders that have a lot of design work better and Jennifer used lighter inks. That seemed to help some. I think it takes practice seeing what works best.
