The Queen Mum lived to be 101 years old, the oldest reigning monarch, who was known to be feisty & a little flamboyant, but well loved by her kingdom! When they suggested she leave London during the Blitz, she refused, saying that if her people had to endure the bombings, she would, too! Her daughter, Queen Elizabeth II is more reserved in nature, very proper, but well loved, too! Who would have believed she would be an auto mechanic in WWII! She is the longest reigning monarch in history!
