I’m talkin ages 1-9 and they were all into it 🎉 Then I stumbled upon @coachcoreymartin on YouTube and we were hooked 💕 They’ve got all sorts of jump battles and brain breaks including Elsa, Mario, and even Bluey! Comment BLUEY and I’ll send the link to this “interactive” video straight to your inbox! 📥 An enjoy your hot coffee today mama 😉 #momlife #lifehacks #momhack #fu

Emma | Brain-Building Parenting Tips (2-7yrs) on Instagram: "Most kids TV shows are bad. There I said it. They are fast-paced and overstimulating and can even cause tantrums or difficulty calming down. But there are some gems 💎 out there, too For lots more on this topic (including screen time tips and how to avoid overstimulation) check out my stories. ⬆️ Tell me ➡️ what are your kids fave shows? Jayme Yannuzzi on Instagram: "Just in case you needed to hear this… Using screen time in your parenting does not make you a lazy parent. I have been seeing such negativity surrounding screen time and I just needed to state that in case you needed to hear it. Screen time is one tool in your parenting toolkit for you to use when you need it! As you can tell, this is an ongoing journey we’ve been on. And not one that is right for every family. But just like I pin recipes for our family in hopes of serving the most nutritious an delicious food I can, the same goes for our TV shows. As 90s kids I know you loved Saturday morning cartoons as much as I did! So if you’re looking to try something new this weekend I hope these are helpful! You may have others that work better for your family

Yashika | Healthy Lifestyle + Mindful Parenting on Instagram: "Ditch Cocomelon, Daniel Tiger, Chota Bheem, Masha & the Bear, Octonauts, Noddy and all those shows with high contrast backgrounds, vibrant primary colors, multiple sounds playing at once, mesmerizing animation and continously moving camera angles with scenes lasting for only 2-3 seconds 📺 These are all tactics used to overstimulate the brain. This holds a child's attention for an unnaturally very long time. And that's the reason kids would stay put and won't move when it's ON and would cry as soon as you take away the screen because it's kinda addictive 😵‍💫 Most of such shows are marketed as educational but screens are and should be used for entertainment purpose not educational. Also, kids are tangible learners (learning

FirstCry Intelli Education | Early Learning Experts on Instagram: "Summer’s here and your little one is around, asking to be entertained all day! But we know mama and dad need a break too.💫 Enter low-stimulation shows for kids! These calming yet adorable and educational TV shows avoid loud music, choppy scenes and dialogue, and flashing changes in scenery and opt for a slower, calmer pace with muted tones to keep kids relaxed and occupied, whether at home or on vacation elsewhere!🌈 If screen-time helps, then let it be good, educational, low-stimulating ones so that you can get your much needed break while your little one is occupied.📽 • • • • • [low-stimulation shows for kids, screen time, keep kids busy, educational shows for kids, busy toddlers, shows for kids, watch and learn] #tv
Big Little Learners on Instagram: "Read-aloud animated kids books 📕 can be a fun way to make screen time 📺 a little more engaging! To make it more interactive, try pausing the video and naming animals/modeling animal sounds 🐮 🦆 Our favorite toddler books include: ⭐️ The Very Hungry Caterpillar ⭐️ Where’s Spot? ⭐️ Brown Bear ⭐️ Chicka Chicka Boom Boom ‼️‼️ face-to-face interactions with your child are best for early development and speech/language learning ➡️ we are NOT suggesting they be replaced with screen time! BUT sometimes you need a break or need to get something done, so there is nothing wrong with giving your child a little screen time in moderation . . . . . #readaloud #books #animatedbooks #childrensbooks #ericcarle #screentime #toddler #toddlerlife #firsttimemom #seco
