You need a smaller container , only as big as the roots . Then : Remove old soil , transplant your plant into a terra cotta pot that is about the same size as the roots area , into a soil mix consisting of a third Perlite , a third Orchiata orchid bark [ small chips ] and another third your favorite potting soil . Make sure and use these proportions . If in a warm house , water about every 4 days and water well .
