Hana | DIY & Home Design on Instagram: "Book lover bedroom reveal for under $500! 📚 My son asked me to paint his room blue 💙 I was so inspired by this BeautiTone paint colour Cape Cod Bay (C7-2-0633-4) that I built an entire nook for him. I got all my lumber, trim and tools for this built-in bed from @homehardware to complete this bedroom makeover. I can totally see him transitioning into this room as a teen too! Isn’t the color gorgeous!? 😍 The team at your local Home Hardware can support with paint recommendations and advice for how to prep your painting surface! #HeresHow #HHPartner #Ad, bedroom makeover, blue bedroom, budget makeover, kids bedroom"
tina le mac 🌙 | DIY + home on Instagram: "My plain picture frames were just not doing it for me, so I gave my gallery wall a makeover with these easy DIY ideas that take under 30 minutes to do! 🖼️ 1. Add a pattern! You can use wallpaper, fabric, or scrapbook paper 2. Double mat is my current fixation. I love how you can mix and match patterns and colors for a layered look. 3. Paint markers are my current faves! Less messy than paint and dries super quick too. It took me less than 10 mins to make this striped one!"

Megan Zietz 🌸 Colorful Life & Interior Design on Instagram: "I don’t throw genius around too much but this renter-friendly diy painted gallery wall transformed our boring stairwell while giving us the perfect way to showcase our kids art without sacrificing on style. Would you try this? Our stairwell was looking pretty boring and since it’s a pretty uneven wall I didn’t want to break my sanity trying to wallpaper it so what’s the next best thing? Paint! But I also wanted a cool way to show case the kid’s art without using plastic frames. That’s when it hit me, why not draw a gallery wall for all of their art going up the stairwell? It tackles the drab look of the area and my art storage issue in one fell swoop! I’ll admit I was dragging my feet because taking the plunge and messing
Medina Grillo on Instagram: "I got so many questions about this bookshelf when I shared my mini bedroom makeover over the weekend, that I thought it might be a good idea to share this tutorial again. It’s literally just a wooden dish rack - hung vertically. Two things to note though : - don’t use the IKEA osbit ones, they’re too short and the books will just slip out (learnt this first hand) - the self adhesive strips work best on non porous surfaces which means they could peel off paint on some walls (it’s not happened to me yet but I’ve heard stories). I’d advise removing with a hair dryer if you’re concerned this could happen. Alternatively you could just use screw in cup hooks if you don’t mind making holes. Will you try this in your bedroom? #bedroom #diybookshelf #bookshelfi
Jen Buchheit on Instagram: "DIY Flower Light 🏵️ I made a couple flower lamps for a cozy corner of our playroom! I cut out six flower petals for each layer using cardstock paper. To attach the petals, I cut out a circle of cardboard with the inner part cut out to slide over the bottom of the light fixture. I hot glued the petals in three layers to the cardboard ring and rolled each petal to give it some shape. The bottom two layers curled in and the top layer I curled out. I used a battery operated LED light bulb for these lights (they don't get hot and nothing is hardwired). I love how they turned out! #easycrafts #kidcrafts #papercrafts #cardboardcrafts #paperflowers #diypaperflowers"
Emily Henderson on Instagram: "Did you know you can use fabric as wallpaper? And it’s totally renter-friendly! @gretchenraguse recently revealed her bedroom makeover, where she used this amazing wall fabric technique. To try it for yourself, all you need is: -enough fabric to cover your walls -measuring tape -painters tape or staple gun -liquid starch and something to pour it in -clean paint roller -scissors and an x-acto knife Head to the blog for the fully detailed instructions!"
