Hand embroided personalised jumpers - Pixie&Me on Instagram: "A slow and simple chain stitch tutorial! I use this stitch for evvvvverything! It is my absolute favourite and there are a few ways to do it! This is a simple beginner friendly way and I hope you give it a go! The needle inside in this video is a 6mm blunt needle The yarn that I use is 200g acrylic, this is a personal preference and a yarn that I find so nice to work with! I use purple fabric pens! They are air/water erasable! My garments are bought wholesale and I buy in bulk so not ideal for small batches sorry, if you are wanting to buy in bulk I would highly recommend testing your own samples as what I find suitable might not be for you! Anabella Cahwje - Baby decor & sewing tutorials on Instagram: "💕I hope you find this tutorial and the tool from the little hack useful. I've tried to make it as clear as possible. Please ask me if you have any questions. 😊 *BLANKET STITCH*: - The blanket stitch is a simple, sewing or embroidery stich. It is used for different purposes such as finishing the edge of fabric, creating a decorative and secure border(blankets), sewing two pieces together along the edges (shown in this tutorial) or layering pieces (aplique, tutorial coming up soon!) - Ideally, the distance between stitches and from stitch to edge should be equal, but this can vary too. - I normally stitch from left to right and from back to front. Feel free to try the other way and see what works best for you.
