Crafting sun catchers is so easy and fun and the outcome is super cute! We did this with three and four year olds and they needed a bit of assistance from grown-ups, but not much. You could certainly make these with older kids as well and create more elaborate designs, sizes, and themes if desired. This is a perfect party activity or even something fun for a rainy day! To recreate this activity, add water to an ice cube tray with food colouring (or paint) and add some googly eyes. We used different sizes to look like monsters. Let it freeze overnight, and get ready to play! Use warm water with droppers or spray bottles, and have your little one rescue the eyes.
