This is my second time using the “Retique It Liquid Wood” product to give a veneer table a lighter wood finish. This stuff is great for adding a layer of real word on any hard surface that is stainable. - Clean all surfaces to be covered with liquid wood. No sanding needed. Remove drawers and cabinets as well as hardware. Tape off walls and floors.
- Apply liquid wood to all surfaces with a foam brush in long even strokes. I used Retique It Light Wood Color. Paint two coats. Wait two hours in between coats.
- Apply stain of choice. Allow it to sit on the surface for about two minutes before wiping it off with long even strokes.
