Charlotte Mason said that the foundation of knowledge didn't start in the classroom but rather in the teaching of good habits at home.

Our daily schedule for a Charlotte Mason inspired Kindergarten. Read my blog for details on when I tackle homemaking tasks, computer work and reading between homeschooling. I also have a baby and a toddler so I share what I do with them while I’m homeschooling our kindergartener. Our schedule may not happen at these EXACT times each day but generally, in the same order.

I never expected to end up with a classical homeschool curriculum for my kids; I certainly never expected that I'd love it so much. But I do!

Here are just a few examples of handicrafts you can teach your children. Our kids have really enjoyed learning various skills such as whittling, gardening, videography, and we have dabbled in embroidery and cross-stitch. This year my eldest wants to learn how to sew, and I have a few children interested in pottery.
