BANYO MATI KULLANARAK YAPTIĞIM 3 MUHTEŞEM GERİ DÖNÜŞÜM FİKRİ | DIY
236K views · 33K reactions | Most sun catchers like these are made with plastic contact paper or other non eco-friendly materials. These? They’re made with ingredients from your kitchen and are COMPOSTABLE! You can create them and either let them dry in the sun or in the oven at the lowest temp. Just make sure to check them occasionally if you go that route. They’re done when they’re completely dry to the touch. The backside middle should still be a little wet, making it perfect for sticking to a sunny window. Doing it this way may make it hard to remove. We needed to use a razor on ours, so you may want to try letting it dry completely and then simply using a tiny more to adhere to the window. Your call! You don’t need to diy the clear glue, but if you don’t, make sure your glue is both washable and biodegradable, preferably compostable. Glue Recipe Here’s my go-to compost-safe clear glue recipe, which you’ll assuredly want to save seeing as I have the most gorgeous projects coming up that use it! Here’s what you’ll need to make one cup of glue: 1 1⁄2 cups (350 ml) water 2 tablespoons (40 g) of corn syrup or honey 1 teaspoon (4.9 ml) of vinegar 2 tablespoons (15 g) of cornstarch 1. In a saucepan, stir together 3/4 C (180ml) water, syrup, and vinegar and bring to a boil. 2. Combine the cornstarch and remaining 3/4 C of water and then whisk into mixture. Return to a boil and continue cooking for 1 minute. 3. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store in airtight container. Best used fresh, but it will last a long time if kept in a cool place. If you’re also DIY obsessed, let me know. I think it’s time we be friends 😉 What do you think? Will you try this?
