- Translation: “At first glance, this stone statue looks admirable, but upon closer inspection, it has a not-so-admirable, somewhat shabby shape. It seems to represent the fathers of today. I feel a little sympathy for it.”
- Translation: “A megalithic civilization is said to have flourished on an previously unknown planet. Now here is the proof that it really existed! A must for archaeological site enthusiasts. (...Whether that is true or not is unknown. But if we insist, we can sell it for a high price. That's how the world works.)”

Trivia[edit]
- The Worthless Statue's name is a reference to the King's role in chess; the King is arguably one of the weakest pieces on the board, as it has very little mobility and largely relies on the other pieces for protection. Olimar's notes on the Switch rerelease of Pikmin 2 reference this, noting that the piece "looks like it's a little helpless on its own."
- In spite of their names, the Worthless Statue and Priceless Statue are worth the same amount of Pokos.
