The Tusked Blowhog family is a family of boar-like enemies introduced in Pikmin 4. The Tusked Blowhog itself is currently the only known member of this family. Members are strangely in the same genus as members of the Blowhog family, the Sus genus, suggesting the two families are closely related.

The family's name is named after its only member: the Tusked Blowhog.

The genus Sus is a real genus of wild and domestic pigs which is what the Tusked Blowhog resembles. This genus is also shared with all the members of the blowhog family due to fact that they all also resemble pigs.
