Laura Woods has explained that she has added two new tattoos for something she “loves” and “lost” while on a romantic getaway with her boyfriend.
The popular sports presenter has been enjoying a romantic trip to Mexico with partner Adam Collard, 28. The pair have been together since last July but only went public with their relationship in October.
During their trip, Woods, 36, treated herself to two new tattoos. The first of which appeared to be a name written on her ribcage. Taking to Instagram with a picture of the body art, Woods wrote: “For someone I love,” with a white heart emoji.
She also revealed that she had added a cross to her forearm. Explaining the tattoo, she also wrote: “And for something I lost”, again with the same white heart emoji.
The snaps of the two new tattoos were not the only insights that she shared during her getaway with Collard. The TNT Sports host also shared pictures of her and her boyfriend spending time together at Tulum Beach in Mexico.
Woods has not yet spoken out on her seventh-month relationship with Collard but the former Love Island star has given an insight. He recently revealed that he messaged her on Instagram in an effort to secure a first date - despite initially not knowing who she was.
Speaking in a recent interview, Collard said: "I'd followed her on Instagram because I'd seen a Lionesses game or something like that and then I DM'd her because she put like a funny meme on her story."
He added: "The funny part of the story is, for a football fan as well, I actually didn’t know who she was. Well I knew who she was as in I recognised and knew her face, but I didn't know that was Laura Woods in terms of her.
"So I went in for a podcast just like this at The Sun. She walked past me and the girl that was chaperoning us through as like 'That's Laura Woods' and I was like [shrugs] but she had her back turned to us, she was like miles behind us."
Offering an insight into what the future could hold for the pair, Collard said: "We are not necessarily the average everyday couple. We're both doing a lot and I think that I've always been beyond my years anyway, I think it's probably exactly everything that I've needed for a long time."
Woods is set to be back in action this weekend over what is a hectic weekend in the Premier League. Eight games take place across Saturday, while there are a further two on Easter Sunday. There is then a full round of midweek fixtures.
