Hogwarts Castle Owlery - £39.99
Another Harry Potter Lego set that's less than £50 is the Hogwarts Castle Owlery. It comes with 364 pieces, five owls and three minifigure characters - Harry Potter, Argus Filch and Cho Chang. Made for ages over eight, the set lets you recreate the iconic scene in the Goblet of Fire where Harry asks Cho to the Yule Ball.
While some shoppers found the Owlery to be 'less detailed' than other Harry Potter sets, one thrilled buyer wrote: "This is the first Lego set I've ever built at the grand old age of 25, and I absolutely loved every minute of it... I would highly recommend this to anyone, regardless of age."
Tiny Plants - £44.99
If you have a friend or family member who loves plants or gardening, they're sure to be made up with Lego's Tiny Plants set that requires a lot less attention than the real things. Designed for adults, the set comprises 758 pieces and lets you build nine adorable plants, including arid, tropical and even carnivorous species. Each plant is nestled in its own terracotta-coloured plant pot.

The Formula 1 2024 season may be over, but fans can get their F1 fix this Christmas with the Aston Martin Safety Car & AMR23 Lego set. Designed for children over nine and adults, the 564-piece set lets you build the two 2023 cars with authentic Aston Martin detailing and includes two minifigures.
Unfortunately one F1 fan had an issue with the authenticity of the set, as they found 'the colour is incredibly wrong'. Someone else didn't agree, though, as they explained: "This is an excellent set for car enthusiasts and Formula 1 fans. Both models are highly detailed, with the AMR23 capturing the sleek, aerodynamic look of a real F1 car, and the Vantage Safety Car featuring the iconic light bar."

Children over the ago of four who love Gabby's Dollshouse can enter the world of the adored TV show with Lego's Party Room set. Made up of 252 pieces, the set is ideal for little builders, as it comprises a ready-to-go model in each bag and a large starter brick.

First up is the Phantom Menace collection which lets you build six iconic characters from the film using 732 pieces - Jar Jar Binks, Anakin Skywalker, Queen Amidala, Captain Panaka, Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul.
One satisfied buyer said: "This was so easy to put together and they are very stable. There are six key figures in the box so you really get your money's worth." However, they did go on to say: "I wouldn't give this to a little kid because of the little parts, but it's a great gift for a Star Wars fan."
Prisoner of Azkaban Brickheadz - £49.99
Last but not least, Harry Potter fans can build five characters from Prisoner of Azkaban with this Brickheadz set. You can create Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Sirius Black, a Dementor and a Stag Patronus using 697 pieces.
