We’re still slap bang in the middle of swimsuit season, and whether you’re jetting off abroad of have a staycation planned, a great piece of swimwear is a suitcase essential. Finding one that gives you the perfect amount of lift and shape whilst still being comfortable and affordable can be tough, but we think we’ve found the perfect one – and we have Salma Hayek to thank for it.
Despite her A-list budget, the actress was spotted sunning herself on a boat on holiday wearing Pour Moi’s Samoa Boost Push Up Padded Underwired Bikini Top, £36, and the matching Samoa Ring Detail Brief, £22. As well as being easy on your budget, the bikini has also been racking up plenty of praise for its supportive and uplifting fit, with shoppers giving the top a 4.5 out of 5 star rating.

The purple Pour Moi bikini is a godsend for curvy figures, with the top offering plenty of support and lift for larger chests. It comes in both cup and band sizes ranging from 32-28 bands and B-F cups, and is fully underwired to give you extra security.
The Samoa Boost Underwired Bikini Top also has padded push up cups to help create just the right amount of lift and shape, whilst the halter tie means you can fasten it as tight or loose as you need for comfort. It also has a back clasp fastening, and luxurious looking gold hardware that give it that A-list worthy look.
Reviewers have praised the top for its shaping ability, with one saying: “Really good fit, flattering and good boost while looking natural. Have tried more expensive brands to get an ‘uplift’ (Liz Hurley, Victorias Secret) but this is cheaper and better for shape. I’m not sure how long the material will last (looks very nice but have not tested this aspect) since my bikini likes and needs seem to change quite often I am happy.”
Another wrote: “Great colour and style. Good fit, gives me a nice uplifted shape. Very pleased. Bought another one in the lime green.”
Salma also wore the matching Samoa Ring Detail Brief to complete the look, which have a trending high-cut leg shape to elongate the look of your legs, with a soft and stretchy elasticated mid-rise waistband to create a curvy figure. It also has matching gold hardware details and a subtle sheen to the fabric, making them look far more expensive than their £22 price tag.
Salma completed her boat-ready attired with a striped sarong in complementary colours, and although we’re not 100% sure where she bought hers, we did find a very similar one at Topshop. The Topshop Sarong In Green And Wine Stripe, £38, has a subtle colour palette of green and wine and pale pink which are the perfect contrasting colours to Salma’s purple Pour Moi bikini.
