Room 4-8 (titled Room 3-8 in the British English version) is the eighth course of Magnet Mania in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Donut Blocks.
The course features three Mini Marios.
Overview[edit]
Two Mini Marios begin on the right side of the course; the bottom one starts on a structure made of Magnet Ground, featuring two Rotating Magnet Sticks. Spinning the top one leads to a room with the third Mini Mario on a platform in the middle, as well as several Donut Blocks at the top which can be used to enter this room; stepping on the Donut Blocks on the top left leads to some spikes below the two right Donut Blocks, and two more Donut Blocks below the two on the left covering up a passage at the bottom. There is also a Warp Pipe in the middle of the center room which leads to a room with the bottom Rotating Magnet Stick and the exit. At the bottom of the course is a passage with a pair of hammers and six Shy Guys; the two Warp Pipes on the bottom of this passage lead to one just above the two Mini Marios and one above the ceiling of the center room, respectively. A third pipe near the bottom right leads to the exit room. To reach the exit, the player should guide the Minis onto the Donut Blocks near the top right so they fall onto the ledge with the pipe, then guide the Minis into it so they can enter the Goal Door.
Mini Mario Card[edit]
The Mini Mario Card is in the bottom right, at the end of the passage with the Shy Guys. It can be collected by directing a Mini into the passage by standing on the Donut Blocks, picking up the hammers near the ledge to dispatch the Shy Guys. The Mini can then walk safely into the card.
