Good morning! I woke up to an extra hour this morning, and there was light, yay, so I'll see if can finish this post that has been sitting on my desktop all week. This post is mostly about knitting, with some cooking and TV recommendations too and I hope you enjoy reading it.
First thing to share is my next project that begins with this lovely group of yarn, Brooklyn Tweed Loft and Rowan Kidsilk Haze. I'll put both strands together to make a wooly yarn with a halo to make Tursa, below. Isn't this lady simply gorgeous? The model is the designer! |
This coat is swoonworthy, but all her designs are swoonworthy and if you don't already follow Natasha Hornby from Moonstruck Knits, you should! When I saw this, I knew it had to be mine. I had a little more than half of the yarn in my stash and ordered the rest. I'm hoping my colors will somewhat match hers and if it's half as pretty, I'll be happy. Before plunging in I have to sit for an hour or so and read through the pattern to understand the construction. Now with shorter days, this will be a cozy project to sink my teeth into. Can't wait. |
