Tre Lire, Primo Giorno
In an unnamed city of Northern Italy, a 90 year old man, Carlo, is hospitalized for amnesia.
One night the old man awakens in the ward and walks into a small room where he finds four young nurses gathered over a poker table.
“It’s too late”! Carlo says. "I do not have long to live". He persuades the four, who are going through their own life crises, to leave immediately and seek out a precious stamp hidden in a small box that is buried in a quaint little town in Tuscany.
The Tre Lire stamp is dated January 1st, 1860.
On a summer night full of promises and uncertainties, an old disused ambulance is on the run towards an adventure that will uncover life-changing surprises for everybody.
It is a journey of discoveries and answers led by a man who, behind his fragility, hides a consuming desire to live.
