It’s nighttime in a deserted neighborhood and Margarita is about to go home, loaded down with groceries. Her steps reluctantly lead her up to a blood-ridden stranger she’s destined to meet again. She’s not alone in the house. Yannis shows up out of the blue. A girl is talking on the phone. A naked man kicks her out of her room. And the blare of the TV set goes on and on: ‘… the young girl is still missing…’ Margarita washes off the blood. Being alone in a place with no safety, innocence or repose isn’t an option. Not if this place is called a violent new world.
