Bel-Air (2022)
Started off strong... Then comes the agenda pushing.
Episode 1 was very promising. I remember watching it and thinking wow this show is a lot better than I expected it to be. After that the show just starts to go down hill. The further you get into the season you start to notice the politics and social agendas getting thrown in your face like many other shows they put out in these times. I wish they would have kept the gritty, down to earth style of the first episode but they slowly but surely started taking the CW route. I give the show a 5 because of the nostalgia it gives me but the score may quickly decrease if it continues to head in the direction it currently is going.
The 100 (2014)
Beginning to end.
This show starts off as one of the best tv story lines. The first 2 seasons were my favorite. The plot starts to get messy in the middle seasons and at one point i had thus show rated a 6/10 because the story started to lose itself and the show didnt have its original feel. But I just watched season 7 and seconds ago I finished the very last episode and just by the way the writers chose to end the series I had to bump it back up to 9/10. The ending ( to me) made up for the times this show felt frustrating. It gave me the feeling of when i finish reading one of my favorite fictions foe the very first time. You dont want it to be over BUT the ending is so satisfying that it feels right to let it end on that note. You never really can figure out how all the chaos is gonna end while u watch this... Its always some other unforseen disaster... But they did an amazing job wrapping it up... Im so glad i did not give up on this show. I recommend watching to the very end. The outcome of all our favorite survivors journey is pretty satisfying after all they endure together. Hats off to everyone involved for ending things well and not dragging the show on just to air more episodes. The final act lived up to the splendor of the first two seasons... I hope you all get to enjoy it as well.
The Magicians: The Balls (2020)
Ughh
Honestly the musical numbers took so much away from the story it was hard for me to really get into the episode. They had previous episodes with musical numbers that weren't as bad in the past but this episode seemed like it would have been more enjoyable with just good acting. Musicals aren't my thing but I'm also not completely against it if it's entertaining. It just seemed like they had no real storyline for the episode so they threw in a bunch of 80s musical scenes that were more cringy and corny than entertaining. I've read that the show is getting cancelled and I can see why. I don't feel any of the "magic" from the first seasons in this last season. Quinton dying took alot away from the show and I think the chemistry on set must have changed because it feels like it from my end. There were a few good episodes this season don't get me wrong, buy this was not one of them and this season's over all plot kinda sucks if I'm being honest. Hope the last episode blows us all away and we don't catch another G.O.T. type of series finale fail.
Star Trek: Picard: Nepenthe (2020)
I MEAN Yes
Picard and Number 1 make a reunion and I will not spoil it for you but I personally enjoyed it and especially how on point Jonathan Frakes does his job playing his role like the next generation stopped airing yesterday. He and P. Steward have a screen chemistry that will never be dampened by time obviously. I am a major Star Trek fan especially next generation and DS9 so this episode was really special for me as far as closure to some questions I once had... I guess im a little biased because of how much I love these two characters but if you are a long time fan like me then this episode will make your day early in... Blessings and good day or night to all who read this.

Watchmen: An Almost Religious Awe (2019)
A Masterpiece
I almost never give perfect scores but this show keeps getting better and better and the twist at the end of this episode just made this one of my favorite and most anticipated shows i have ever watched. I wont spoil anything for you e; i wont dare rob you of the shock value... i predicted the twist a little before the reveal but there will be a moment in the episode where it comes together in your consciousness and you will get a chill up your spine... well done watchmen... i now hold this show up there with the likes of breaking bad, the first 4 seasons of game of thrones, and the wire for just being a well rounded, high quality, well written, binge worthy piece of art. they out did themselves with this episode... they better not dare drop the ball.
The Flash: License to Elongate (2019)
filler episode with little value
This episode was full of cringe moments and filler content. JUST SO YOU KNOW ON MY SCALE FIVE STARS IS LIKE SAYING THE EPISODE WAS JUST OK. FOUR AND BELOW MEANS BAD AND SIX AND UP IS LEADING TO GREATNESS. THERE WAS NO CISCO RAMON IN THIS EPISODE, FLASH WAS USELESS TO THE POINT OF BUMBLING, JOES WIFE DOES SOME DUMB STUFF AND NOTHING REALLY MEANINGFUL HAPPENS UNTIL THE END. OH AND THE NEW WELLS GIVES UP FLASH'S IDENTITY LIKE ITS NOTHING. NOT TO MENTION THE OVER USED JAMES BOND THEME ATTEMPT AND THE WAY THEY MASSACRED HIS DIALOGUE. I REALLY DID NOT ENJOY WATCHING THIS COMPARED TO HOW MUCH I HAVE ENJOYED THIS SHOW IN THE PAST, AND WHO EVER WROTE THIS IS PART OF THE REASON THE ARROWVERSE IS DECLINING. THE FLASH IS STILL THE BEST SHOW BUT THEY BETTER STOP MAKING DUMB MISTAKES LIKE IN THIS FARCE.
Angel Has Fallen (2019)
predictable yet satisfying>dont go in expecting too much>just go for the ride
SAME RECIPE AS THE FIRST TWO BUT I THINK THIS IS THE BEST ONE IN MY OPINION. THIS IS THE TYPE OF MOVIE THAT YOU SHOULD WATCH WITHOUT RIDICULOUS EXPECTATIONS. LOTS OF ACTION, ALL THE ACTORS AND ACTRESSES DO THEIR JOB, EFFECTS ARE PRETTY SOLID, GERARD DOES HIS GERARD THING IF YOUR A FAN LIKE ME, AND ITS 2 HOURS OF WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT AFTER WATCHING THE FIRST TWO. THE STORY IS EVEN LAID OUT IN A WAY WHERE YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO WATCH THE FIRST TWO TO UNDERSTAND AND ENJOY THE STORY AND CHARACTERS. ONE THING I DO HAVE TO SAY ON THE NEGATIVE END IS THAT ITS COMPLETELY OBVIOUS WHO THE BADGUYS ARE EARLY IN MY OPINION IF YOU UNDERSTAND HOW ACTION FLICK SCRIPTS USUALLY PLAY OUT. ITS PRETTY PREDICTABLE BUT THEY KEPT IT FUN TO WATCH AND ENTERTAINING SO I GAVE IT THE 7 INSTEAD OF JUST A 6 BECAUSE I FEEL THEY DID THEIR JOB AND THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT ME. I GOT WHAT I EXPECTED, IT WAS PREDICTABLE BUT SATISFYING BY THE END.
Looking for Alaska (2019)
A very well executed show.
I just gave this show a chance like what the heck and I have to say I am impressed. For a teen high school Dramedy this takes a very refreshing approach and the story, characters, and actors portraying the characters are great. I never read the book this story came from but going off this show I would guess the book is Amazing. I loved the movie paper towns, which I believe came from a book that was written by the same author who wrote this story. With that said, this is definitely worth a binge. Its better than the majority of shows they are trying to put out these days.
So I had to come back after finishing the series... And omg this is a MASTERPIECE. The only thing bad about it is that it ofcourse wont be a season 2. I appreciate the entire staff of this production... Well done... Bravo. To think I was going on hulu to find some anime to blaze to... And I found this GEM. A must watch... My first rating was a nine but Ill give this one of my first perfect scores. I gave it nine because I was only half way through and after what Game of thrones did to me Im always a lil skeptical... But this was a pure work of art.
Made in Abyss (2017)
IF you are a fan of ANIME then you should watch this. NOT A KID SHOW BTW.
Without spoiling anything I will just say that this is one of those GEMs that you run into whilst relentlessly looking for that New anime story to binge. I had just got done bingeing SAO Alicization and I really needed another anime that could hold up. Made in the Abyss has everything I look for in an anime. Beautiful Artwork, a Quest, interesting characters, breath taking scenery, just enough comedy to not be over the top, and something original about the story itself to separate it from other animes. The look of the show could be likened to having sceneries like studio ghibli, with the character designs resembling Aniplex Projects like SAO and FMA. Im 4 episodes deep and if all keeps moving at the pace it has been, then I will hold this title with other cherished Animes of mine like Dragon Ball, FMA, SAO, Inuyasha, and countless other Animes I love to watch. So if you are looking for that visually astounding unique adventure story I think this is it.
The Boys (2019)
Awesome Show
If PC culture doesn't destroy it, this may be one of the greatest shows ever. Taking Superheroes and making the story realistic. The characters are awesome and have more depth than your everyday super hero show. I give 8 stars because its too early to give it any better.
Hellboy (2019)
Not the greatest film.
IF I had to choose I would choose the Ron Pearlman Version personally. If you are looking for a movie to watch with action, lots of effects, and predictable outcomes then look no more. If you are like me and are hoping for something more climactic than the first Hellboy Series, you wont find it here. I hear that this movie is more like the comics but I think the CGI was sloppy and over used and the plot was very "meh." But I gave this a five star because it itsn't one of those movies thats just impossible to watch. If you just want to kick back and enjoy some action for a couple hours then this will work. I recommend blazing one up and ordering something unhealthy and watching this completely stoned with your favorite snack. Thats what I wish I did. If I ever watch this again thats what I will do.
Dragged Across Concrete (2018)
Dont waste two and a half hours of your life.
This movie was pointless and excrutiatingly slow. There is no pay off at the end. The whole time Im thinking man this is potentially going to something very exciting but the excitement comes a day late and 1,000,000 dollars short. I gave it my all but after just finishing it I feel like I was cheated out of part of my life. I gave it an extra star because it has some of my favorite actors. Otherwise it would have been 1 star.
A Dog's Way Home (2019)
Great Family Movie
I love this movie and its very touching and adorable. I think they could have casted a better voice actor for the lead character though. The actress they chose made the movie feel cringy and cheesy at points.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Too dark (Lighting Wise), Poor Direction.
In my opinion the battle was very epic but there were too many close ups and it was filmed too dark. It was hard for me to get into it because it seemed like it focussed so much on making an epic battle that they forgot to give it the quality that I am used to this show providing. It seemed very forced and almost amatuer at points with how dark they tried to make it. It was like the batman v superman/Justice league episode of the series. Lots of hype but not enough sticking to the formula of what this show has provided us with for the entire time until now... With all that said, its still GOT and its freaking awesome no doubt but I just feel that the director and or editors dropped the ball when it came to shooting and or finalizing this episode. It didn't have to be quite so dark... it didn't really detail the action in a way that would enhance how much more exciting it could have been. I guess they were trying to show us how difficult it was for the characters to see first hand, yet in the end I believe that strategy may have taken away from the battle, because I spent more time trying to visualize what was happening than I took enjoying the excitement. But, in the end its Freakin GOT and I enjoyed it. I just have very high expectations for this last season and I hope the rest of the season will live up to the GREATNESS Im used to experiencing.
I tried not to spoil anything for anyone who may not have watched or finished the episode... Enjoy. No matter what GOT is still and always will be one of the greatest stories ever told.
The Upside (2017)
Definitely worth your time.
Honestly, to me this is Kevin Harts best performance seeing how he is a comedian and he actually showed some range. I am a K. Hart fan but I have to say every other movie he is in he basically plays the same roll. In this he doesn't use his comedic chops as his go to. Even with that said he still is very funny in this movie but in a different way than what I am used to. Bryan Cranston once again has not let me down. I believe this movie was well written and It was a nice way to spend a couple hours just chilling and watching while eating some BBQ. I watch alot of movies and I dont always write reviews but this movie really left me feeling pretty good by the time the credits started rolling. And that is what I was going for and what I needed. So if you want to watch a movie thats not TOO serious, but has some substance and leaves you feeling pretty nice at the end... Go for it. Its worth a couple hours down time either chilling by yourself or with a loved one(S). I even made sure not to spoil anything for you because I want you to feel what I feel now minutes after watching. God Bless!
Red Sparrow (2018)
Just 41 minutes in...
I just want to say the movie is interesting so far and I'll see where it goes, but after 41 minutes of viewing I have to say this movie is very "rapey," for lack of a better term. There already been 3 or 4 instances where a character is sexually compromised. I don't want to spoil too much but if it persists I may just decide to stop watching. If Jennifer Lawrence's extremely gorgeous self wasn't in it I probably would already stopped. Let me see where it goes.
