Tomb Raider (2018)
Don't waste your time.
No point to this, she can't act and no one is going to believe that she can fight the men in this film. don't waste your time, it's not the films fault, its people who though we wanted to see a film like this and in truth we did not. It's just dull and boring, nothing new in this film, sorry just my truth.
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Awful, just awful.
I've tried 3 times to get to the end and failed, it's just boring! Nothing knew to see here. It's not believable that a girl who is about 7 stone can fight a 6ft 5inch guy, sorry but I don't like her and in anything that she has starred in, she is boring and a dull actress. This film is boring, the big strapping men are boring, so is the plot and direction, just boring, in the end I simply did not care what happened.
Narcos (2015)
Best series I've seen in a very long time!
Loved it from start to finish. I did not care that I spent most of the time reading English subtitles, this entire series left me wanting and wishing I could speak Spanish. It's simply superb! Not once was I bored, I did not want this to finish, I knew nothing about Pablo's life, but man, what a life he lived. You have to see this to believe it!
Creed II (2018)
Enjoyable
It's good, a touch of the past and the new. Would I watch this film again, 'yes', if I said 'no' I would not have given it an 8/10. Nothing will ever match the original 4 but this is good, Creed was good, so this but it's just different.
The Dark Tower (2017)
It delivered for me, I enjoyed this film!
To the point and exact, I like this film, explained everything and got on with it, I hope they make another film, not read the books or even knew about the books, I was entertained. Make up your own mind, don't listen to the poor, negative comments! I judge any film on 'would I happily watch this again?' The answer is 'Yes'.

I am in love with Villanelle and Eve in equal measures, the style of Villanelle is superb, it series just gets better and better.
Beecham House (2019)
It's just a bit of fun, color, exotic, gold and a beautiful cast!
Take it on face value, it's a bit of exotic escapism, full of color, gold, silks, opium, elephants, music, beautiful people, what more could you possibly want?
Russian Doll (2019)
Fantastic - Loved it from start to finish!
Music is awesome, cast and locations are fantastic. You will love this, you will not get bored, it just keep giving, rock on series 2...!
Murder on the Orient Express (2017)
Loved it from start to finish
Accents come in and out, so don't get hung up on these, Judi Dench was awful, another actor should have been cast in my opinion and given the chance. But this I have to say is very good. I have read the book over and over again, I have watched the Albert Finney and David Suchet versions plenty, but I did enjoy this too. Visually it is stunning, the train is magnificent, superb.
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Loved it - was not bored
Being honest, I found the original a bit boring, but I loved this film, from start to finish I was hooked.

Voice of AI - put me right off
Sorry but Gary Oldmans voice as the AI-Computer just put me off! I only watched 30 mins and could not finish the film, sorry but I love GO, always have and always will but he was mis-cast here, he's trying to do a weird voice which is just wrong. No idea how it ends, sorry.

I want my own Okja! Well acted and totally out there story but engrossing none the less!

Disturbing
Wow, scary and disturbing. Had no idea what to except, acted superbly by all the actors young and old. Very atmospheric through out.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017)
Sorry just being honest
Look I am no Mona Lisa/oil painting but this could have done better at the box office/better recieved etc if they had put a better looking guy as the lead. Cara is beautiful and visually stunning, she's a model so yeah she looks good, but he is just not right for this film/role and did match her beauty, he was not her equal. The lead guy in a film this expensive and big, should have been someone like Liam Hemsworth in my opinion. Only being honest, the story is good and all visual are amazing, the clothes, aliens, outer world etc, but the lead guy just did not fit and I felt he let this film down in my opinion/for me.
The City and the City (2018)
Took my breath away!
Had no idea what to except, never heard of the author or the book this is based on but once I watched the first episode I got it, was hooked and wanted to keep watching, this series is unbelievably good, nothing you will see elsewhere and a great science fiction treat!
The visual/special effects /cinematography was flawless that I thought it must have been made somewhere in Germany, but no, here in the UK. I watched it through 3 times over, I loved it that much! Watch/enjoy/discover something different.
Altered Carbon (2018)
Mind bogglingly super fun, fantastic!
Completely worth the rating I've given this series, it was so good that I watched through twice. The story and visual are AMAZING!
My fav character is Poe, the AI, so well acted and emotional he is a beautiful man/AI inside and out. I hope Netflix makes a 2nd series. Watch and enjoy for yourself.
Stranger Things (2016)
It's so tubular!
This is awesome! Just watch it! The children are fantastic actors and are going to achieve lots in the future! Winona is still achingly beautiful! The clothes, the music, the hair, the cars, the houses, the wallpaper, the carpets, the decor, the kids arcade games, etc, etc, etc, it all works and is totally wicked!!!
American Assassin (2017)
Hard to watch, very good, it works!
Can believe this could happen in real life, the main guys are really good and I believed the pain they felt, the action and fighting is very real hard to watch at times, as it's so real, but I loved this film. I did not want it to end to be honest, it's a very good, spy, action, drama film etc
R.I.P.D. (2013)
Very Good, happy I watched the film!
Really enjoyed it, I had no idea what was gonna happen, as a film it works, 90 mins of fun, all the cast are great, fun, sharp, will watch again, just watch and see for yourself. Enjoy!
GLOW (2017)
Gorgeous
Just watch it, its so much more and more. The girls look and act the part fantastically, watched both series back to back, cried when it was over, I want to take up wrestling now as a homage to the girls, the 80s look totally wicked, the clothes, the music, the hair etc. Looking forward to the 3rd series, bring it on!
Incredibles 2 (2018)
Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!
This is the best film I have watched in the whole of 2018 and I think it will be the best film I've watched this entire decade. I've waited nearly 14 years for this sequel and it did not disappoint. It's just a family who happen to be superheroes, just going about an ordinary life, paying bills, going to school, taking out the trash, doing homework etc, the graphics, music, design, editing, special effects etc, etc, etc are awesome, simply awesome, as soon as it finished I wanted to watch it again it was that good. Take it for what it is, it's the best spy, superhero, family film you will watch, I finish my review by saying this, I wish I was super! Enjoy this film!
Paddington 2 (2017)
A bit bored tbh
Not as good as lots of people are making out, I thought a little dull and predictable once it got stated. It's ok, but not the best film of the year, this is far big an accolade to place on this film. I will say that I thought Hugh Grant was the best thing in the film. My kids got bored and not finished watching it yet and they are 7 and 4 years of age so this does not bode well for this.
Extinction (2018)

The film is better than lots of the reviews that you will read here, the kids are not annoying in any shape, way or form, they are hardly in this film at all, so don't believe what others have written. Watch for yourself and make your own mind up, I did! It's an ok film.
