Boat Story (2023)
Trying so hard to make it big
Trying so hard to make it a big scary show by cutting tongues, killing lots of cops in the police station, caption after every scene with an annoying narrator. I have never been so appalled in my life after seeing a pilot episode and i have seen lots of shows. I can't even get past episode one cos I'm so irritated. No offence to the actors, they are just trying to make a living but the whole plot is whack. Yes, it's a film about drugs, but that shouldn't mean you should go to the police station and start killing police. Even drug kingpin respect police force. Trash. The stupid narrator is just cringe.
Fargo: Bisquik (2024)
Sheriff is owed some suffering & Bisquit Redemption for assassin
I've been a fan of Fargo since the 1st season and this 5th season is ranked 2nd position for me after the 2nd season which is the peak for the series. Fantastic season, strong characters that played their role to perfection just like slade wilson in arrow. The finale was awesome. Even if it was predictable, it still delivered. And the final score has been settled between the man and the tiger. A man's flesh was torn, a debt is to be repaid. A man must forgive the debt despite his code and get redeemed. Can't wait for the next season. It's high time I got the original score. Those who gave this season a low rating are the shallow humans we have in this world. A good movie critic knows that this is solid season, one of the best series of 2023 and it deserves any award nomination it gets.
I Care a Lot (2020)
How can I unsee this?
This movie is in league with knock knock by Keanu Reeves. The fact that this big movie stars agree to this kind of awful scripts makes it more painful. I feel so cheated and deceived because of these movie stars in these movies. I feel so angry after watching this movie that i had to cancel my prime video subscription. I needed a sense of justice not even Pike's death at the end of the movie was justice enough for me. I have never want a character to die more than the lead actress. Like my review if you are angry too after seeing this movie. She miraculously gained super human strength and saved herself from drowning after being drugged and the partner didn't need a doctor's attention after bleeding from the head and miraculously recovered from a head injury. What's the point of faking her death. And still have the guts to ask for 10 million. I was even rooting for the antagonist, but it ended up they both stupid people.
Brotherhood (2022)
Very Hot Movie
You have to watch this movie if you are a fan of Nollywood movies.. This is a high quality movie as compared to other Nigerian movies. The plot reconciles well which gives it an icing on the cake. The action scenes are quite okay, almost better than that of Marvel's Iron fist. Lol. Watch the movie and Judge for yourself. The characters are awesome, and the plot twist is very logical. Good original score. Nevertheless, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I don't know what else to write about the movie. All I can say is, it's awesome. I don't understand the average review by people. Best of luck watching it. I hope you enjoy it.
