G-Force (2009)
Do not waste your money!!!
I took my 8 year old niece to see it and she said this was stupid and I agreed w/ her-there was nothing cute about it. The human's acting was atrocious and the guinea pigs were just annoying. Anyway we spent $16 and lost $16 as we decided to walk out 45 minutes into the movie. So take it from me- don't waste your money! The plot into the 45 minutes we stayed had nothing. I was even a little put off that the male guinea pig was suggesting lewd remarks to the female counterpart. From the start I didn't want to see it but figured hey this is a Disney movie and my niece really wanted to see it. We walked into the theater being the only 2 people-that could be it was b/c it was a 12PM movie and people are at work during the week. Anyway don't see this movie. Disney should be ashamed for putting out such tripe.
The Good Witch's Garden (2009)
TGW Garden was awesome!!
Catherine Bell struck gold again in this adorable and very sweet sequel. Her character, Cassie is like no other we see on TV today. She tries to find the good in people and doesn't give up, yet sometimes the good doesn't always want to come out. Catherine and Chris Potter's chemistry is so much to watch. The kids were sweet and I thought did a better job acting in this one. But what I loved about the whole story was its messages it sends. This movie series has the potential of running very successfully and with Catherine Bell as their lead, Hallmark cant go wrong with the series. If you have not seen it yet, see it!
The Good Witch (2008)
TGW rocks!!
I absolutely adored TGW. It was a wonderful family movie that my niece and nephew enjoyed watching w. me. As a huge Catherine Bell fan since her days on JAG, I have always loved the characters that she portrays. Btw, she is one of the most under-rated actresses today who deserves more recognition from her industry. With that said, you will not be disappointed in this very feel good sweet and fun story with beautiful acting from Catherine Bell and Chris Potter. In this day and age when movies are violent and have bad language, TGW is clean good fun. I would recommend this movie to anyone. It is not scary and really sends a strong message to people. As a teacher, I would want my students to watch a movie like this (3rd graders)because of the important message it sends. TGW is the best- it was Hallmark's highest rated movie for 2008 and second highest rated movie in their history.
Still Small Voices (2007)
What a movie!
We all know that Catherine Bell is one of the top most beautiful women on TV but I think what people don't realize is what an amazing and gifted actress she is too. Catherine gave a performance that will make you stand up and take notice of what a truly talented and terrific actress this young woman is. She keeps you riveted to the screen the entire movie in Still Small Voices-- you would be afraid to blink because you thought you might miss something... the plot was so suspenseful and the ending was something that made you say huh? This movie is so worth watching-- if you haven't seen it yet, see it. And even if you don't think the movie sounds intriguing enough, then at least tune in to see the acting performance that Catherine gives. She will not and does not disappoint. NEW: I watched SSV again (last week) and it honestly has to be the best movie on TV I have ever had the pleasure of watching. It has everything that you would want in a movie--the emotions are a roller-coaster. Great great movie and again a TERRIFIC performance by Catherine Bell!!! Btw to see more of Catherine's amazing acting, watch Army Wives!! Will not disappoint!!
JAG (1995)
JAG rocks!
JAG was the best show on TV-- strong cast, strong story lines, not to mention the undeniable sexual tension b/w Harm and Mac... JAG had it all--action, drama, mystery, romance, humor... you really do not have shows like JAG nowadays... JAG represented the military in a positive light and you always knew the good guys would win! David James Elliott and Catherine Bell had the most amazing chemistry on screen-- you just could not get enough of Harm and Mac. Now that JAG has FINALLY been released on DVD, fans can revisit episodes and enjoy them over and over again. For those who have never seen JAG, you need to watch!!! Shows today really do not have values-- JAG did-- truth, justice, and the American way-- sounds cliché but it really had these qualities. JAG will live on forever-- HOOYAH and HOORAH!! :) GO JAG!!!!!
