The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019)
One of The Greatest Fantasy Stories Ever Told
The original Dark Crystal (1982) had a novel idea, but I believe it wasn't executed to the best it could be, and the technology just wasnt there yet. This series though blends CGI and puppetry beautifuly.
In the beginning I kept focusing on the fact that their mouths opening and closing didn't sync to what they were saying, they seemed out of place for the moment, but after watching and watching, I didn't even notice anymore. I was so connected to these characters that I saw them as what they were, small, human-like creatures but NOT human, a fantasy creature only a puppet could do. I can't believe using puppets would make me so emotional as I watched this story, but its true.
I highly recommend it for any fantasy fan, beautiful rendition of Jim Hensen's vision.
Shin seiki Evangelion Gekijô-ban: Air/Magokoro wo, kimi ni (1997)
How The Show Should Have Ended
This 'movie' is basically an alternate episode 25 and 26. No, literally. The title cards are included, even short outro's for each episode spliced together in an hour and a half, denoted Episode 25' and 26' with apostrophies, meaning its not the original.
Let me just say, WOW. Why didn't the show end like this originally? I heard there were budget cuts at the studio near the end, but still, THIS is the true ending in my opinion. I'm all about preserving the artists vision and all that, but the artist behind the whole show is the reason this alternate ending happened, so he must have reflected on it and decided it needed to be better.
If your planning on watching the Evangelion series, here is the order
-Episode 1 - 24
-The End of Evangelion
Shinseiki Evangelion (1995)
I Wish The Show Kept Its Roots
During the first 12 episodes, it was very action driven. Some of the best action scenes i've ever seen in an anime, and the emotional reactions to things seemed raw and realistic. I like how things weren't explained right off the bat, they were revealed to the audience slowly. Nearing the end of the series, it seemed rushed, and it was strange. It almost felt like a different show near the end, yes it may have seemed happy, but in reality everyone on earth lost their freedom, and humanity was practically wiped out without the audience even knowing without looking on the internet.
Im just saying, if they kept with the plot of destroying all the angels, and in the end an immensly powerful angel, and maybe a situation where a sacrafice had to be made by crashing it into a planet with one of the eva's or something like that, that would've been fine.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Gripping, I couldn't take my eyes of the screen
This movie is teetering between PG-13 and R for how absolutely disturbing it can be (for PG-13 that is), but thats not bad. Its gripping in fact, for a super hero movie, it's just what it needs. Thanos is possibly THE best super villian to ever grace a superhero film, he isn't just someone doing it for fame, glory, wealth, or because he just loves to wreak havoc. He has a clear goal, and some of the things he does over the course of the film hurts him, and that shows how much dedication he has to doing what he thinks is right, you sometimes feel for both the villian and the hero, as it SHOULD be.
Recommended, excellent.
Nekromantik (1988)
So thats what insanity feels like
No seriously, I feel like I just had a dream that you get when your sick, It is kind of fascinating in a wierd twisted way though.
Blade Runner (1982)
Atmospheric, Breathtaking
Blade Runner is an Dark, Apocolyptic Scifi Noir that comprimised nothing in transporting the watcher into its rich story. It is one of the only films that can call itself Scifi without turning into an action filled adventure story. The film doesn't fall for fads of the time, making it absolutely timeless and not feel 80's in the slightest. The cinematography is decades ahead of its time, on par with films of the mid 2010's. Its music and sound is a beautiful blend of synths and analogues, your really able to feel what it is trying to tell you.
If you haven't seen this film yet, it is a must watch for any film lover new and old.

Rick and Morty (2013)
A Genius Comedy More-So than Family Guy
Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon really have something special here. The show is geniusly crafted with each episode maticulously made to make you think, laugh, and cry. Its truly an adventure through time and space.
Ôbârôdo (2015)
Lord Ainz is unstoppable!
This is a complete and utter great anime. Lord Ainz is both badass but merciful, and he makes for a great main character. The animation style is beautiful, and the story has a deep meaning. It is your proper setup to an amazing series. Season 2 is already in the making and hopefully this can become a long running series, I wouldn't complain! This deserves a watch if your in to fantasy and action, I won't spoil too much.
