Murder in a Small Town (2024)
Main character was too perfect
The first episode was alright, but they kept harping on about the main character's relationship as if they didn't work going on or anywhere else to be besides together. Throughout the first episode it seemed like the main characters always had to be around each other. They also made the main character too perfect, chief of police/detective, perfect dad, perfect painter, perfect etc. If they had more detective work and less romance it could work better or if you're going to always the main two characters in the same scenes why not make her a detective or atleast work at the same police station.
Scavengers Reign (2023)
This was amazing
When I first started it I was lost, so for the first 2-3 episodes you will probably be as well. After episode 3 it picks up and you learn how and why they got to the planet and how everything is connected in one way or another. Another amazing thing was the animation and detail to how a fully functioning ecosystem works. Give it a watch you won't be disappointed. I did however hate how helpless the two characters were as far as always having to be saved. They definitely could've made cayman a much bigger part of the show instead of making him a wimp. The scavengers were a great asset to the shows story.
