Chainsaw Man (2022)
Interesting
An anime from 2022 called Chainsaw Man explores the idea of humans vs devils.
Although this theme has appeared in numerous anime series, Chainsaw Man approaches it in a very unique way.
In Chainsaw Man, a teenage boy named Denji is forced to perform odd tasks in order to pay back his father's debt.
However, once the loan shark betrays him and kills him, he is forced to reincarnate as a human being with the devil inside him.
Then, he was invited to become a member of a devil-hunting group whose goal was to eradicate these devils.
I can't remark on how well they brought it here because I haven't read the manga for the same.
However, as an anime watcher, I truly enjoyed the way the plot progressed. Although the pacing was slow at first, it eventually captured my interest.
The plot is of a higher caliber than some of the worst films ever made.
Additionally, there are some unexpected events that happen so swiftly that we, the viewers, are momentarily taken aback.
One of the most well-developed characters in the anime world is Denji, the main character; we always know precisely how he would respond in any given circumstance.
Power and Makima were also excellent.
We could watch the anime for days on end because it was of such high quality and had such well-done artwork.
The vivid hues enhance its beauty.
I wasn't initially interested in the soundtrack, but the opening song was just too good.
Ojing-eo geim (2021)
Great Korean drama to start watching
🔺Next up is a Korean drama that became a sensation on Netflix in a single week, yes it is the same 'squid game'. Thought-provoking presentation away from the regular romantic Korean drama. I 've never seen much Korean drama, so I'm sorry if there is anything wrong with what I am saying. Squid is a series with a few plotholes, though not a lot of gameplay, and this series created the impetus to click next after each episode. It is definitely a very entertaining series.
🔺The plot of the series is to catch debtors from different parts of Korea, bring them to an island, play six games with them and give a winner 45 billion Korean won. Games are games that were played in childhood in the past. But if you lose the games, you will lose your life !!!
🔺As mentioned earlier, the squid game is a perfect item for a binge watch. A not-so-bad survival thriller. Although none of the subplots are excellent, the main plot is very well taken by the director. Those who are just starting to see Korean drama can start from this.
The Dark Knight (2008)
That's Nolan For You
Because He's a Silent Guardian, a Watchful Protector. A Dark Knight.
Angel John (2009)
Rubbish Movie
Aada mwone Maradona Paavam anu.
Yes son, Maradona is a good guy. Waste of time , waste of energy.
Incendies (2010)
It didn't make me cry but it really shook me up.
How did I miss this film for 11 years?
A depressing film that hits you hard every time you re watch.
Kaavalan (2011)
Not Disaster still below average
Compared to the Malayalam (Original) Vers. This one is below average. Music is also not much entertaining.
Whiplash (2014)
Every Re Watch makes film more beautiful
No words to say, this film would always be in my top 10 list of favorite movies. This is my review on my second watch of this movie, gets better and better in every re watch.
Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016)
Beauty of Idukki Captured Beautifully
The beauty of Idukki captured so wonderfully through the story of Mahesh. Realistic movies became a trend in Mollywood after this movies even though lots of realistic movies were released before. Detailing given to each scene is only needed to understand the range of Dileesh Pothan.
Tumbbad (2018)
Good not exceptional
I don't think this film is good enough for a second watch (this is my second watch), The shots are visually good and screenplay should also be praised, still lots of scenes were kind of boring, horror scenes did not provide much of a scare to me both in first and second watch, but CGI was pretty neatly done and not exceptional.
The Father (2020)
The Father makes you cry
And that's how you make a film. Great acting by Sir Anthony Hopkins and no wonder he got an Oscar for his fabulous performance as Anthony, rest of the cast, moved along with the flow. What a fantabulous film.
Prometheus (2012)
First it was boring ,re watched then it was interesting
Prequels: a film category exuding potential – the putty is there to be molded, but with whose questionable capacity? (2007's Hannibal Rising is almost taking up too much of this word count to even mention. Ugh.) In our case, Ridley Scott returned to the helm and constructed a horror odyssey, impressive in its scale and energy, in the universe of the Aliens series, but removed from its original story (for now let's just overlook 2017's Alien: Covenant).
Scott's Alien (1977, first in the series) is an obvious classic and still slickly stunning, so maybe you didn't see Prometheus because, like, why would he mess with that? Or worse, you did see it, but endured the company of a snobby franchise fanboy whose criticisms pummeled into your own psyche, skewing your perception of what is, in reality, sci-fi horror gold.
So watch it, or re-watch it, but this time really drink in all of those lustrous special effects, meditate a bit on those worthy themes, and maybe even make notes because if you're ever going to have to perform an alien abortion on yourself this may serve as your only reference.
