The Sandman (2022)
Constatine
Just wanted to say how irritating she is. Girl just chill out, what are you trying to prove, you're not above an Endless, so act like it, stop sabotaging everything..
Apart from that the show seems pretty cool.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
Unbelievable, yet expected
Another failure. Please just stop with the remakes. They all follow the same damn plot anyway. Stupid teens, their need to force modern times ideas on everyone, an overpowered murderer with the original movies being the only backstory filmmakers could come up with, and ofcourse a surviving character waiting half a century to kill the guy, same thing with Halloween and Scream.
Can't you just invest in some quality scripts ffs.
Scream (2022)
Not today, nor ever
It can't justify the hype. As a slasher per se it is not that bad, but as a sequel it was completely disappointing. And what's with all the soap opera drama, for f's sake, it's a horror movie, just cut the c*ap.
As seen in today's remakes and sequels, it takes credit for what the first three movies have delivered and fails to add some of it's own character. If it wasn't for the old cast, no one would even watch this. Ghostface didn't even manage to kill half of it's victims. Not that it matters, but since it's a slasher it actualy does.
I really hope filmmakers would come up with something fresh in the following years. Not just a mediocre hommage to the golden years of horror movies.
I See You (2019)
mystery thriller
A carefully done mystery thriller with twists and turns for patient viewers. A big thank you for the makers of this one. Almost no unnecessary time wasting scenes, no stupid jump scares, great suspensful music etc Overall a very good movie <3.
Penny Dreadful (2014)
Face face face
Can someone please tell mr John Clair that no one gives a damn f_k about his stupid face. No, genius, no one's looking at it, stop pointing it out, just stop
Dick Night (2011)
What did you expect of a movie called dick night?
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this one. Particularly it's comedy. And it was suspensful at times as well. Overall an 8, because I didn't even expect it to be that epic and was still positively surprised. A decently done combo of good acting for the most part, funny lines and reactions and thrilling scenes. If you're not here just to be critical then give it a chance..
Salinjaui gieokbeob (2017)
It's been a while...
....since I last saw such an engaging thriller. Korean filmmakers really know how to get your heart rate up. The story is a piece of candy and the whole plot and development just draws you in.
I've seen a few comments which are badmouthing the specific pace of korean movies and scenes which seem to be pointless, but let me tell you this: they really don't try to explain everything like it's for a 10 yo child, we have enough american thriller cliches to do that. So if you're a true movie fan who was on a lookout for a piece of cinema to linger on your mind then watch this
Enter Nowhere (2011)
I loved the unexpected
I had no idea where this was going and I loved it. A few times it reminded of some movies and themes I've already seen but then it took a different turn and kept me guessing. I would recommend this as it's truly a hidden gem, especially nowadays (2019) when you can't even find a decent thriller in the last three years. A movie to enjoy.
Tinsel (2012)
Who ratet this so high?
So, I'm not against independant low budget experimental short horror flicks or whatever, but what the hell folks?! The video is not even rateable, that's how bad it is. And it wouldn't be a problem, amateur filmmakers can always work on their skills and stuff, but don't give fake ratings. I just lost half an hour of my life on this. Whoever wants to give it a chance, you're doing it at your own risk. Good luck !
