Murdoch Mysteries: Promising Young Ladies (2022)
Who Framed Nina Bloom? or one of her friends in this case.
Well this was quite a surprising and yet unexpected term of events.
It has been quite a white since I have seen Nina Bloom appear in the overall and I got to say after a few seasons of being absent she is still looking lovely, attractive and damn freaking hot as ever before. Whoa Mama!.
Plus I was very glad to see the Effie didn't take it the wrong way when George told her about how he and Nina used to have a thing with each other back in seasons 9 to 11, I mean talk about a sigh of relief.
As for Dr. Reed I think I speak for all of the good men of Canada and the rest of the world when I saw, It is men like him that give men like me an Mudoch such a bad name.
Murdoch Mysteries: The Write Stuff (2022)
Well this little mystery is certainly one for the books. (Pun Fully Intended)
This episode takes place in Toronto 1910 - Edward VII (Albert Edward;1841-1910) is King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and of the British Dominions beyond the Seas.
Established in 1909, the Toronto Reference Library is the largest and most visited branch of Toronto Public Library (TPL).
Joseph Rudyard Kipling, (1865 - 1936), English short-story writer, poet, and novelist chiefly known for his celebration of British imperialism, tales and poems of British soldiers in India, and stories for children. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1907.
Edith Wharton, née Edith Newbold Jones, (1862 - 1937), American author best known for her stories and novels about the upper-class society into which she was born.
Also, novelists Frank L. Baum, Henry James, Theodore Dreiser, Zane Grey are among the list of novelists printed on the marquee poster.
Murdoch Mysteries: Sometimes They Come Back Part 2 (2022)
Try, try, try to separate them It's an illusion. Try, try, try and you will only come, To this conclusion.
Here is some Good News and some bad news.
The good news is George Carbtree's two aunts have just been exposed of their true intentions and now with that problem resolved, (kind of) he and Effie are now happily married in peace.
The bad news is the strange case of the supposed death of Violet Harts father still remains unsolved, and not only that but I think it looks like that might be the very last time we will ever see Detective Watts in the show overall at least for now.
Also I think (Roger Cross) the actor who played Maurice Majors, did a really good job with his performance, It kind of gives me a Tim Curry vibe in my opinion.
Murdoch Mysteries: Sometimes They Come Back Part 1 (2022)
Well!... so much for (Dead Men tell No Tails).
Wow! Just wow!.....
I have to say this was a pretty tragic yet very impressive way to start off the new season. There were so many unexpected twists and turns of events through out almost every part of the story.
Plus the whole side plot with the idea of a murderer coming back from beyond the grave was a very unexpecting but also very surprisingly nice touch.
But on a side note just when I thought George and Effie's troubles were over, and yet they still continue on.
I mean it was bad enough that both of their lives were already at stake back in the previous season.
I personally just hope the things will take a better turn for the two of them when part 2 comes out.
Wallace and Gromit's World of Invention (2010)
Nifty "how stuff works" show has some technical details.
With absolutely charming stop-motion animation linking each segment of fascinating science, this is a slam-dunk for kids of a scientific or curious bent. Wallace and Gromit, are, of course, well-known characters already; kids have probably already seen one of their many shorts and movies, so they draw kids into what might otherwise be offputtingly technical.
Speaking of the show's technical segments, they may be a little detail-heavy for younger kids or those who aren't interested in the subject material. But if parents are, World of Invention is a great pick to watch with kids, because adults will be just as interested as kids to know how a jet pack works and why you don't slam into the side of the building when you're flying one. That sounds a little scary, but it's not presented as such; everything here is light, fun, and definitely aimed at promoting a love of science and invention.
Murdoch Mysteries: Close Encounters (2022)
Now this is how you make a close encounter with the Murdoch kind. (No pun intended) LOL!
Even though I am starting to find the idea of ending with a cliffhanger thing to be a tad bit too overrated, this to me was still a very good way to wrap up Season 15 overall, with it's many major elements, unexpected twist reveals.
At least now we know the Murdoch family are once again safe from potential harm and they can finally live their new life in peace at last.
The only two remaining questions are.....
1. What really did happen to Violet Hart's father on that day?
And 2. Who is the uninvited guest that showed up at George and Effie's wedding ceremony?
Stay tuned for Season 16...if there will be....
Murdoch Mysteries: Pay the Piper (2022)
The Power of Murdoch Compels You!!!!!
Okay...now things are really getting up to an even bigger personal level than before.
I mean yes Wiiliam and Julia have dout with many serious personal issus through out their life in the earlier seasons.
But I think this one takes on a much more bigger and deeper tone and feel to it.
Plus I thought the side plot with George.and Effie hunting for a alien portal seemed quite interesting.
My only note was that at the end of the episode Murdoch told his wife Juila and I quote... (I seem to have made a deal with the devil and I broke it).
That line had me confussed a bit because i wasn't sure what he ment when he said that, and through out my time watching the entire series I never seem to recall there being any some point in the show where he actually had made a deal with anyone before up until now. I could be wrong but thats just my beleaf.
Despite that one minor nitpick, this first part of the Season 15 finale was still great in my opinion.
Whatever is gonna happen next in Part 2 when it comes out I will be prepared for it.
Murdoch Mysteries: Devil Music (2022)
After many years of the shows airing... The big moment has finally arived! The birth of Mr and Mrs Murdochs new born child. (For real this time!)
Since the actress who played Julia (Helene Joy) did just recently have a baby girl in real life, and the fact that Murdoch technically already does have a son from another woman.
I pretty much asumed that the new born was going to be a girl for the very beginning, and I am very greatful that I was right.
For that I speak for all the other Murdoch fans.out there when I say...
Thank you to all the people involed in the Murdoch Mysteries series itself for finally making this long awaited moment in the shows history become a reality.
Murdoch Mysteries: Bloodlines (2022)
Lean on me... When you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on... For it won't be long Till I'm gonna need somebody to lean on
Wow! This episode has a very serious tone and very strong concept that in my honest opinion I think all people of every kind should relate too.
Given that we are still currently in Black History Mouth and all.
Murdoch Mysteries: Rawhide Ralph (2022)
The Death of Ralph Fellows...
Damn! What a way to kill off another criminal!
Lucky for Julia that cart full of hey were there to save her, and her unborn child from meeting the same fate.
As for Fellows himself, Good Rid dints!
Plus: It was great to see Harry again and I must say the child actor who played him did quite a very outstanding and brave performance in this story.
I'm sure Murdoch would be very proud to have a son like him.
Murdoch Mysteries: The Witches of East York (2022)
Well this was Creepy!
I must say this episode did have some pretty creepy elements to it, and a few fun elements too, but it was mostly creepy.
At least it wasnt that creepy, unlike some of the creepy episodes from the earlier seasons. Woo!
Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000)
TATMR to me, is not great but it is not that bad ether.
To be completely honest I personally don't think the final cut of Thomas and the Magic Railroad is bad as most people say it is. Plus I grew up with this movie. And I like it as much as I loved the TV series, Yes I did notice some of it's flaws. But despite that I still think the final cut of this film is good for it is, and believe me I would love to see the directors cut.
Murdoch Mysteries: The Night Before Christmas (2021)
I thought the first three Murdoch Christmas specials were great, But this new Christmas story really takes the cake for me.
Now this was truly a very impressive holiday treat, even better than the previous three Christmas specials the come before it.
It was a such great mix of intensity, Whimsical Charm, and Festive Spiritness, and (spoiler alert) after hearing Julia say that she is pregnant again at the end of the episode,
I was like, (Holy Crabtree!, Talk about an unexpected Christmas miracle!).
I have a theory that after looking back to the events of Season 11, It looks like God himself decided to give Juila a second chance, or third chance if you count her abortion.
Murdoch Mysteries: Drawn in Blood (2021)
For the very first time in television history, Canada's Greatest Detective becomes a hand drawn cartoon character.
As a cartoonist myself I kinda found this episode to be very relatable.
Plus In my opinion I thought the hand drawn cartoons of Murdoch and all the others actually looked pretty good, even if they were meant to insult people.
Murdoch Mysteries: Murdoch Knows Best (2021)
The Name is Meyers....Terence Meyers!
I watched this episode just now and I must say it was quite an interesting concept.
So many twist reveals and unexpected surprises
and I got to learn that there was a lot more to know about Mr Meyers himself than we already knew of him.
Plus I thought the James Bond reference at the end was pretty amusing. LOL!
Murdoch Mysteries: I Know What You Did Last Autumn (2021)
Killer Clowns, Revenge Plots, A lot of Dramatic and Eire Moments, and you've got yourself's a perfect halloween masterpiece.
This truly was the most traumatizing and climatic halloween episode I have ever seen.
The eire feel of the Killer Clown's presence really stole the show for me, and the big twist reveal at the end was quite an unexpected and very shocking touch.
Murdoch Mysteries: Blood on the Tracks (2021)
Murder on the Murdoch Express!!!!!!
As a fan of trains. I was intrigued by everything this episode has offer, the train derailment has me traumatized and the twist reveal at the end was quite a shocker to say the least.
Murdoch Mysteries: The Things We Do for Love: Part 1 (2021)
Wow! what a very dramatic way to start off the new season!
This new two parter episode has quite a lot of dramatic and personal moments.
Plus I think the conection between Murdoch and his son was pretty touching.
Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends: Toby's Discovery (1998)
I feel like this episode seriously doesn't get as much love as it deserves.
To be quiet honest. I think Toby had every right to be scared...
I remember watching the episode for the first time and when Toby was alone at the mine. It was so eerie that it made me feel like I was there with him.
But i do agree on one thing though, the episodes ending could have been a slight bit better,
if it was a minute longer and Bertram had dialogue I would love it even more.
Phantom Investigators (2002)
Wow! A short lived kids show that combined stop motion animation and live action for a unique look.
This show is very underrated in my opinion and I think it deserves more credit,
It is by far the most innovative (and certainly one of the most obscure) shows that I have ever seen.
Plus it has some very good morals to teach kids.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?: Space Station Scooby! (2020)
Scooby Doo meets Bill Nye the Science Guy!!! Nice!!
This episode was very unique in my opinion.
Plus I am a fan of Bill Nye the Science Guy and I think he and Neil Degrasse Tyson played their roles really well.
Arthur: D.W.'s Library Card/Arthur's Big Hit (1999)
D.W.s library card was a good episode in my eyes. However I do not think I can say the same about Arthurs Bit Hit.
After looking on Arthurs Bit Hit now a day I kinda see why a lot of fans really dislike it. Plus I heard that even the shows creator himself (Marc Brown) hates this particular episode as well.
Mighty Machines: At the Train Yard (1994)
I've been working at the train yard, All the live long day!!!!!!.
Out of all the Mighty Machines episodes, this particular episode was and still is one of my favourites as a kid,
because well...I just love trains in general.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?: Total Jeopardy (2020)
Three words, Jeopardy Deopardy Doo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was such an amazing episode and a perfect way to honor the late and great long-time Jeopardy host himself.
Rest in Piece Alex Trebek.
Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends: Edward Strikes Out (2006)
This is so not like Edward at all
After rewatching this particular Edward episode, I kinda now see why it is disliked by many.
