The Batman (2022)
Peak cinema experience
Is this better than The Dark Knight?
Can be compared to Zodiac and Se7en. I liked the added mystery-detective type of story compared to other Batman films. This makes a more darker themed Batman
Also, amazing score and cinematography.

2020's hero
With the return of Borat, I did not expect it to be entertaining but it prove me wrong. With this film, it has more meaning to it especially with family values. I love this a lot especially the twist at the end.
I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)
Not for everyone.
Some people will appreciate this movie, but some will definitely not. The movie's story will either want you to keep watching to find out what is really happening or will make you wanna stop to watch it. The acting was great, I wish I could see this one in theatres.

Cheap Ghost riff-off
This is just a cheap riff-off of Ghost. I do not like how the film was edited, with the add ons of the doodle makes the film look like a school project. The role of Alex is just a complete copy of Oda Mae Brown, it is a shame for an Academy Award Winning role. The laughs and jokes were not just landing.
Sorry this is just meh.
The Invisible Man (2020)
I'm the bad guy...
Amazing movie, I did not expect to like it more. Loved the acting of Elizabeth Moss, the story can be almost perfect, It is a one hell of a ride for a horror-thriller movie.

I really enjoyed this one a lot, the story-telling is wise, the acting is commendable. plus the factor that is shown in black and white adds a lot more to this film. This one deserves more audience and recognition.
Sunod (2019)
Quality horror film.
Already watched this film twice, I really recommend this one. 2019 is really a year of Filipino horror. This one is really great having won Best Cinematography award and Best Production Design, you wouldn't want to miss on this one. This is probably my favorite modern Filipino horror film. The acting was commendable especially Carmina and Krystal. (I think Krystal Brimner should've won Best Supporting Actress). The sound design and official song "Inay" was likable too. I think this one deserves more audience and recognition.
Knives Out (2019)
Well written story and superb cast.
I am a huge fan of mystery novels, but when it comes to films there isn't much to love. But this one came along. I really love the story, the cast itself is already likable, the acting is superb especially Daniel Craig and Chris Evans. The set is just amazing. Will definitely see this one again.
Last Christmas (2019)
Last Christmas, I gave you my heart.
Better than I expect it to be, this is one really heartwarming film. Not your typical rom-com or holiday film. The story is a 10/10 for me. Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding really shines in this, also Michelle Yeoh and Emma Thompson. The movie also has a lot of lessons in it.
Ford v Ferrari (2019)
One of the best.
This is one of this year's best, from the cast's performance, the story, and the cinematography. It has good visuals feeling that you are really in the 60s. Bale and Damon's acting were commendable. I really did not expect to love this one a lot because I'm mainly not a fan of action movies. I expect this to be at least nominated for Oscars.

A different kind of movie, makes you feel good and reminisce your high school life. This one should be seen by many.
Babae at baril (2019)
Perfect Film
This is the first QCinema Film I've watched. A PERFECT movie, I enjoyed this one a lot. Great cinematography, shots, visuals, and color. The acting is commendable especially the lead star Janine Gutierrez. This one deserves more audience.
Circa (2019)
Superb Cast
Great cast with a lot of this stars present in the film this is already a masterpiece. I love the movie's color and cinematography it looked so perfect with the story and theme. I just find the story a little lacking of something, maybe they should add more "horror" in it.

I really love this one, love the story about family. Has a lot of comedic scenes and some heartwarming scenes. The lead cast performed well.

Masterpiece film, I did not expect to love this one so much. Great shots and cinematography. This one does not look like a Filipino film (this needs more attention worldwide). This one is very different compared to other previous action movies starred by a female lead. Jean Garcia is such a great actress.

Dizzy and Confused
Absolutely loved this one, great shots, cinematography and colors. Loved the acting too. RK and Sue shines on this. I just had a little problem from where the story goes, because the start is really strong and went a little bit down in the middle.
LSS (2019)
A Star Is Born
Amazing movie, one of this year's best. This is what Filipino movies should be. The story is different compared to your other rom-com movies, (this one showed a lot of time when the characters are apart compared to together). It shows a lot of character development throughout the movie. Gabbi and Khalil really shines in this one. The jokes are really on point. Plus congratulations to the cast and crew for winning five major awards, and to Ms. Tuesday for winning Best Supporting Actress, she really portray her character very well. Great songs by Ben&Ben too.
I've already watched this twice, on the first day and the day after the awards were given. I can watch this on repeat without getting bored.

Smart story, I loved this one a lot and it could be one of my 2019 favorites. Enjoyable story, nail biting thriller (hide and seek). I can watch this on repeat without getting bored. I really loved the casts especially the main lead and the in-laws.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019)
Dora's coming of age
I did not expect to like this movie at all but it is really fun and enjoyable all throughout, there are a lot of fun comedic scenes, plus I really love the adventure that takes place. The movie shows a lot of life lessons under the coming of age story.

This movie is one hell of a ride, it has a lot of unpredictable twists and turns which will make the viewers curious what will happen next. One of 2019's best. I loved the whole cast in this one.
Indak (2019)
Step Down
I expect a lot more from this movie, following the great trailer and poster. What I've got is just typical Filipino teledrama story. (Just like watching a reality competition with a contestant with a sob story). I only liked the movie's cinematography and it has some pretty great shots.
Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019)
Truly amazing
This is so far, the best Filipino movie of 2019. I really love the story, which shows a lot about the lives of Filipino workers in Hong Kong. It is not like any other of those Filipino rom-com, and drama movies you've seen before. This will make you laugh out loud a lot and cry hard.
For me this is Cathy Garcia-Molina's best movie. Kathryn and Alden really shines in this, great acting by the whole cast. It also has great shots, cinematography and soundtrack so it is a must watch!
Midsommar (2019)

Very artsy one of a kind movie. I loved this one more than Hereditary. The whole film's cinematography and story is just perfect. This movie gives you a very weird, unsettling feeling after watching it which made me love this movie a lot.

Amazing Filipino movie. I really loved the story and the acting by the cast especially Glaiza and TJ. It shows great themes tackling mental health awareness. Highly recommended.
