#Jowable (2019)
Good one
I probably have not seen any movie that I can relate to at full extent. The movie showcasing the struggles of those who aren't "not-so-jowable", the defense mechanism whenever people start questioning you and the questions you have for yourself were there and I honestly appreciate every seconds of it including the message and the consequence if you are going to push and force your luck that much. However I don't like the movie's humor that much and I don't like Kim Molina's character that much -most of the time it's cringey.
For a Filipino movie this one is not predictable and I would say it's okay-ish. You just gotta have to lower your expectation if you're going to watch it.
Rawang... Sinsud thang pheuxn (2019)
Movie that is more than its title
I was hesitant to watch this movie because I judged the title itself. I'm not that familiar with Thai movies but they somewhat similar to Filipino movies which are cliche and predictable most of the time. This one is predictable and I just knew that he'll get the girl at the end although I'm not gonna lie it gave me good laugh and the twist somewhat made me wonder whether the ending will be exactly how I predicted it or it'd give me a curve ball. It's a decent comedy film that I genuinely enjoyed from beginning to the end. The ending isn't bad and the main characters definitely have the chemistry! Must watch if you're not looking for something extraordinary.
Doll House (2022)
Boring and predictable
As always Baron's acting is superb and he never fails to play his role well however this movie is extremely boring and way too predictable from the very beginning. This is why I rarely watch overrated Filipino movies because they never failed to disappoint you.
I mostly doze off the entire movie and you just know you didn't miss out on any good scenes -it felt like I was watching another MMK episodes and what's worse is that MMK episodes mostly make me cry and this one didn't like literally I didn't shed a single tear unlike what most viewers claimed. I highly do not recommend this movie to anyone.
Hori-san to Miyamura-kun (2021)
Must watch anime!!
I have been looking for a romantic anime to watch lately and came across this one although it's not that much of a lovey-dovey like how most romantic Anime are anyway; I still love how the story slowly unfolds and how things started going well for Miyamura. While I undeniably liked his pierced and tattooed bad boy persona more, it's still nice to see how he slowly drops the image and started becoming more like himself that he used to hate. I also like that the story just didn't revolve around Hori and Miyamura -feels like the supporting characters' stories are as interesting as theirs. It could have been nice if the series ended with their out of town plan after graduation though.
Ace of Diamond: Act II (2019)
Sawamura's turn finally!!
I am convinced that this season is written to satisfy my hunger for more "Sawamura show" that I have long craved during the first 2 seasons. Sawamura finally got the chance to showcase his capabilities and started getting all the recognitions he deserves. This season is giving me mixed emotions though I love that there the new freshmen who are promising but at the same time this is the season where the seniors like Miyuki and Kuramochi will be spending their last summer before going off to college -brings back to the first season where I cried a lot when the seniors graduated and are all off to go their separate ways. I'm looking forward to how this one's gonna end. Will Seido finally be able to win against Inashiro?
Diamond No Ace (2013)
An anime that takes time
When I first watched this anime I'm not gonna lie that I'm one of those fans that complain about "Oh look another Furuya episode" and it's just so frustrating to see that he is so overrated and I hate how he overshadows Sawamura in most part but hey after rewatching the anime for the millionth time without skipping any episode I came to appreciate every character and even the baby-steps progress Sawamura has gone through plus the rivalry he has with Furuya that comes with bromance are to die for! This is probably the only anime that I came to the extent of learning how to read a Manga because I'm that obsessed with this Anime!
Koe no katachi (2016)
Good one!
For some reason I was able to finish the entire film without needing to take a break. I was interested from the beginning until the last however personally it feels like we were left hanging to what is it exactly that made Shoya make things up with Shouko -was it guilt? Or does it involve any romance? I'm guessing just guilt and that he just matured; it would have been so good if they make it a little more romantic because both the main characters have such chemistry! Nonetheless ending isn't bad I was just looking for more than that. This is the type of film that you won't be looking for any part 2 but you wouldn't mind rewatching after a year either.
Game of Thrones (2011)
Show that breaks the scale
This show is a masterpiece! I'm probably one of the few who actually don't find the ending that bad I mean Targaryens are mad for starters. Even though Drogo's death is necessary for Deanery's growth it's just disappointing that he has to die -their chemistry is so good and their love story is too short it's saddening me every single time. The characters are so well written and well portrayed that I've learned to love them, hate them and just feel with them. Such shows that aren't afraid to kill important characters really frustrates me but at the same time they give us this thrill and mystery that whatever happens next in the next episode will be unpredictable.
Friends (1994)
Go-To show when you're sad
I won't lie when I say I'm probably one of the people who think this show is not funny. This has been recommended to me multiple times before I actually did give it a try. The first episode was meh but I kept watching until I found myself actually loving this show and it's really good and super chill. I think you actually have to know the characters more for you to appreciate their humor. This show is one of my go-to's when I'm feeling so down. Friends is so overrated and is always in most people's recommendations that you just keep on scrolling past through the list but seriously it's a good show and worth giving a shot!
Peaky Blinders (2013)
Highly Recommended!
I don't usually go for series that are overrated because most of the time they're not that entertaining before I could even finish one episode. This one is different though and for its genre it piques my interest and I found myself looking forward to what's going to happen next. The story is well written and characters were portrayed perfectly. It can be quite gory but at the same time I'm for how the events are well organized; it just doesn't give you the feeling that they wrote it in a rush. Every episode gives you mixed emotions -one episode makes you happy and then the next thing you know you're frustrated. Kudos to its writers I'm looking forward to watch more like Peaky Blinders in the future.
Just Go with It (2011)
Relaxing film!!
Love that this film is very chill. No frustrating plot twists or a sharp curve. It's just chill and it's something who loves Sandler's films would definitely enjoy
The Switch (2010)
A very chill film
This film is very relaxing and I could personally rewatch this over and over again. It doesn't really have that overlydramatic twists that would frustrate its viewers and everything about this film is just perfect from the personality of the characters to the plot ---just everything!! I highly recommend this with people who are just looking for a relaxing film
6 Years (2015)
The flow of the story is pure reality
Well first of all I love the casts especially dan and mel they are otp. I love the script it's legit close to reality. It's quiet dramatic and frustrating but that's life, right? I wasn't hesitant not a bit to give this movie a try and the 5/10 IMDb rating is worth basing on. I demand for part 2 though as it ended not quiet satisfying.
Greek (2007)
Such a perfect TV series
First of all I wasn't being melodramatic when I said it's a perfect TV series because it's beyond that word. The casts are so rad and the flow of the story is smooth. They all played their role pretty well and I'm just so in love. This is the only TV series I could watch all over and over and over without getting tired of it. The ending is satisfying and the flow is satisfying. It's perfect and too good to be true that I want to just forget about the real world for a while and live with this
O mai Bineoseu (2015)
This is supposed to be on everyone's recommendation thread
I recommend this kdrama so bad. All the characters are very refreshing that it makes the plot very unique. The chemistry is just so good I feel like pulling my hair every time they have the romantic scene. Mr. Coach is hot and sexy and so are the two kids. This kind of remind me of goblin since the girl lives with 3 hots guys so it's a win win must watch guys
Cheese in the Trap (2016)
great
I love the story really and I find Hae-Jin's manipulative character very fascinating. Go-Eun's understanding character for Hae-Jin's is another story. I love their chemistry and the flow of the story. The ending is so disappointing though like that's it? I went all the way up here for that trashy ending? I am demanding for season 2 because I am a viewer seeking for satisfactory
Yeokdoyojeong Gim Bokju (2016)
thumbs up
I love nam joo hyuk and lee song-kyoung's chemistry they look so good together you just want them to end up in real life because OTP. I love the flow of the story because it's not really that complicated it's like something that is just happening in real life which is really good. I recommend this you won't regret.
Sseul-sseul-ha-go cha-ran-ha-sin-do-ggae-bi (2016)
must watch
I was really hesitant to watch this at first because I'm not really into fantasy stories but since it's gong yoo I gave it a shot and boy did I tell you I regret it? This is so good that I could re-watch it again if it wasn't for the long list of other K-dramas I must watch. Grim reaper and goblin's bromance is undeniably adorable. Kim go-eun's acting is perfect I cried with her.
Kkotboda namja (2009)
childhood kdrama
This story is over the top dramatic but I find myself watching each episodes. I remember it was aired back when I was in elementary and I just re-watched it now. It's just kind of frustrating how complicated the situation was but that just made the story plot unique I guess. Thumbs up
Eunggeubnamnyeo (2014)
this should be on your list
I love every bit of its story. The characters and everything. I also love the fact that I get to know such things regarding medical stuff. The plot of the story is very refreshing because usually every character start off strangers and this one isn't. It's all about rekindled relationship and it will just quiet will give you false hope since it makes "second chance" sound good after all the hindrances. This is a must watch
Taeyangeui huye (2016)
must watch
It's quiet frustrating me how the situation is a bit complicated. This is over the top dramatic but at the same it's flipping good you won't regret shedding tears for it. The chemistry of joong ki and hye-kyo in a scale of 1 to 10 would be 7 like they aren't that bad but they aren't that good neither but to top it all the story is good.
She's the Man (2006)
Perfect for slumber party
This film is on top of my movie list when I'm having a slumber party with new friends and they all seem to enjoy it even if it's kind of cliché. I love the humor and the flow of the story. It's very chic flick and aside from that it's channing freaking tatum pairing up with the queen amanda bynes.
Keith (2008)
Brilliant film
Usually it's always has to be the girl who is nerd and poor but this time it's the boy. I'm not saying that makes the film brilliant though. I think this film is just perfect at its finest. The actors were amazing and the story plot is unique yet over used, you get it? like there's no in between. This is the only decent film Jesse McCartney has besides from Greek but he's only a supporting there, sad because he's a good actor he could make more amazing ones if he will only focus on his acting career more or they will give him a chance to prove himself. nonetheless I recommend this film this is a must-watch-film. You won't regret.
The Outfield (2015)
it's not a bad movie
Some are only being over exaggerated telling everyone this movie is horrible because the casts are from "vines". Some might think I'm a fan of Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas so I'm saying this; No! I know what's a horrible movie and what's not, this film has a great story line seriously. Cameron and Nash aren't bad actors, they did amazing job portraying their characters and I don't know what's with people and they're hating on them, telling them they are talent-less and don't deserve their fame well dude just like what they said to the movie "grab those people and 'grab those moments' because if you do whether you win or lose you will succeed". They don't have to be Johnny Depp or Leonardo DiCaprio to do something they love or something they're passionate about. You all should start doing something you love than complain about others
The Duff (2015)
kinda cliché
You know those films where the hot guy is dating this super model type of girl and out of nowhere he fell in love with Ms. Nobody? Well this one is one of those films BUT I like the idea of where Bianca (Mae Whitman) isn't the loner girl and doesn't go to parties just because she rather stay at home and read Shakespeare's infamous Romeo and Juliet. This film is somehow connected to the reality, to what actually happen to some people around the globe or should I say to some "girls". I know for a fact that there are these girls who wear baggy clothes and always wear the same t shirt every 2 days and when they are being asked "why are you wearing the same clothes everyday" she would respond with "have you heard of washing machine before?" well Bianca is that kind of girl because I could pretty much relate to her. I think after watching this she has become one of my spirit animals, you know. She's just funny and doesn't really make a big deal out of everything until someone pointed it out to her which is I think no one could prevent from really, You know when you're happy and contented someone will just ruin it for you and you'll just think about it for the rest of your life until one day you woke up and thought "only i could define myself". Yeah I love this kinda cliché movie and highly recommend it to my peers, ciao!
