The perfect send-off for the original characters

Simple, yet engaging story. Some elements are clearly recycle from other entries in the series, but it works.
The characters grew up up along side the viewers, with is extremely rare in this type o franchise, showing how strong the themes and characters were to begin with.
Sad, the the themes of this movies are undermined by the 2020 Digimon series.
But h=hey, just like the Last Evolution told us, you can't always get what you want and must always keep moving forward.
