Guntur Kaaram (2024)
Trivikram garu should have just kept with his writer role
Had mad respect for Trivikram garu for a long time. I think his best movies were Athadu and Khaleja. And that's it! All the movies he has been doing including this one is simply killing his time and making money. I am not sure if he spent as much of his intellect as he did with writings for Manmadudu and Nuvvu Naku Nachav.
I would rather watch those movies again rather than sit through AVPL or Aravinda Sametha or this movie. He has been making making a constant mockery of himself and of people who believe in his intelligent writing. Oh well, at least we did think so. Do yourself a favor and stay out of this one stay back home watch Manmadhudu for another joyful time.

Felt like my time was robbed
This gave me the same exact feeling as Maharshi. That I wasted my time. The same tux, the same chopper scenes, the same CEO/Chairman drama. Why do movie makers always think that board of directors are scum? Not sure where they get their information from.
And I think I forgot to tell you how fake everything looks. The songs, the dialogues, oh the fake house. Everything. Watching Srikanth garu get reduced to what he has in the movie is painful. Why not spend a little more time in writing something more original?
I am not a fan of Rashmika. I don't think I can dig her vibe. But that said, I felt bad for her as well. I mean, you would never even notice that a lead actress is present in the movie.

Quite refreshing
So refreshing to have not worried about my ear drums in a recent theater experience.
That said, beautiful story, nice and pleasant screenplay.
-2 for Rashmika's screen presence and cringey voice. Take her out and this would have been an instant classic.
Bimbisara (2022)
Absolute zero for the director
To start off, Kalyan Ram has been stunning. He is now legitimately in the race. With the right story and execution can perform well in the Telugu states and beyond.
Coming to the movie, so predictable story.. zero twists and turns. Went to the movie and brought all my friends along. Everybody dozed off in the movie. So boring. The topic is so exciting..that of time travel. Please see Aditya 369 on how they created such excitement so long ago about time travel. While this movie has nothing. Why were the heroines so cheaply portrayed? Specially the female cop. Why would you create something so cheap for such a noble profession?
I feel so raged to have bought into the fake hype.

Wasn't supposed to be theatrical release
I think it was a very relevant topic but was handled in a very cringey way. This was supposed to be a 20min short film not a 2+ hour theatrical release I felt.
Totally understand that there are control freaks out there like Kiran's role . But the reason why the female lead would fall for the male lead character was lost in the woods. And if she was as gutsy as she is shown with her modern thoughts, she would put no efforts to actually make that relationship work. So their character development was hard to connect to. At least for me.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022)
Burning message watered down because of lack of seriousness
To being with, I would like to thank the crew for picking up a hot, serious topic in India and trying to educate the audience about it. Gotta have guts to pick such a topic and make a movie on it.
However, the director keeps reminding us that this is just a fun movie and doesn't let us feel the gravity of the issue they are trying portray.
For example, the extravagance and details on the fights, the silliness with the female lead. I mean, please andi, kaallu vesthe nidara ravatam enti andi. Meke anipinchaledha, situation dilute ayipothundi ani?
TBH, I enjoyed this movie more than BAN, Maharshi or SNE(the worst of all, still feel bad for myself for ever watching that movie). But coming back, we want MB to keep picking up great topics but also would like to request them to be honest to the topic.
RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) (2022)
Never lost the plot! Kudos SSR.
The movie runs on a thin script. Very thin script. The biggest merit of this movie is Rajamouli never lost the sight of the story line. There are no deviations happening except for the story. Who is the lead character in this movie? You guessed it.. the freaking story. So gotta give up to the director for making sure the story and purpose is not lost to ensure the actors their due screen presence.
Now coming to what's not great.. well, it's the thin story line. And the movie wasn't engaging at times. Audience took their eyes off the screen here and there to be honest.

Did not disappoint
I lowered my expectations on the so called "small" movies after watching Jathirathnalu. That was a disaster experience. This is way better and everybody in the theater thoroughly enjoyed this.
Konda Polam (2021)
A really bad documentary
Vaishnav Tej: Krish garu, I don't know how to give expressions.
Krish: Hey, no problem. I want the same look that you had in Shankar Dada MBBS.
Interesting theme but wasn't engaging.

Feel emotional and inspired. Take a bow.
Just finished watching this master piece. There is a lot I want to say here, but I want to start by saying, "Thank you".
Really appreciate the screenplay and the story telling. The character development is spot on. Nothing was abrupt, nothing was vague, nothing got elevated. The movie establishes the under lying problem more than the actors, which is so refreshing to see. I hope this movie inspires a lot of people to feel empathy towards others. Big or small, everything counts.
Bangarraju (2022)
Texting from the movie
Tells you how boring this movie is. Clearly no production values. People doing short films are doing a much better job at screen play and story telling. The movie shows 0 effort from everybody involved and the predictable storyline isn't helping much either.

Decent movie.. except for Deepika's role in the movie
Enjoyed the movie except for Deepika's face come up every now and then at the end. I understand she was playing role of a family member, but you kept taking away the emotions. I was only imagining Kapil Dev in Ranveer's role. But Deepika was Deepika. Nothing else. She kept demanding screen time just because she was "Deepika".
Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 (2021)
Was worth a watch. Except for the last 20 min drag.
First of all, kudos to Allu Arjun. What an actor. This movie is 100 times better than AVP. It has a fresh subject and versatile characterizations.
2 things to add:
First, DSP failed with BGM. Complete flat. Audience could feel the situation in the movie is getting intense but the music is still very flat. See KGF for BGM tutorial.
Second, Sukumar garu, stop dragging the climax. You did that with Rangasthalam and you did here. The movie would have ended on a high but you stretched and made people sit another restless 20mins.
Overall, must watch movie for the language, for the different locations, for the beautiful picturization and story telling.
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020)
Lot of good technical details but lacked one important thing, story telling!
Music is good, photography is amazing, brilliant cast, but director failed miserably. When we have small movies with no money or cast telling beautiful stories in Malayalam, here we assemble everything but disappoint. Movies should be about story telling but it has become more of marketing and bling.
Uppena (2021)
Thoroughly disappointed
Such flat story telling. Especially the climax. I mean, there is no depth to it. Why did Vijay Sethupathi even get convinced? Obviously he knew all there is to it. His character had inconsistencies I felt. And I was so excited for the movie because of all the hype it got. Not worth any of it.
Jathi Ratnalu (2021)
genuine comedy turned into parody
Being the first film I was watching in the theaters after Covid hit and having listened to chitti song multiple times, had huge expectations for it. The movie began with the promise to deliver but soon went on through a slippery slope and never recovered. The story line never gravitated to anything and in defense of the storyteller, they probably never intended it to. Overall, if you have the stomach for nonsensical fun by watching a bunch of quality youtube bits put together and performed by guys who can really time them, this is for you.
PS: Naveen is a star in the making. He is smart and capable. And Telugu film has a huge void for somebody like him to star comedy, light-heated, story oriented movies. The legendary Rajendra Prasad will gladly pass on his baton.
Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020)
Why? Why use such star Power on story less movies?
The whole 1st half was story less comedy. The whole second half was logic less fights. You have Mahesh babu and Viajayasanthi. Could have used all that star Power for a much better movie. Heroine's character looked so cheap. Walked out of the movie before last 15mjns.
