The Decameron (2024)
Absolutely brilliant and well-played
I'm so happy I saw the positive reviews and gave this a go. It's actually brilliant, well-played and so funny, I found myself laughing out loud several times. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at the beginning of the first episode, but found myself quickly drawn into the story. It's crazy, clever and highly entertaining, with many surprise twists and turns which keeps you completely invested in the story and characters. The actors are playing their roles almost to perfection, capturing the stupidity of their character with what feels like such a natural ease. I cannot understand the negative reviews AT all! I loved this.
My Life with the Walter Boys (2023)
Liked it way more than the bad reviews.
It's actually pretty okey. I was expecting it to be really bad after reading some of the reviews. Ended up watching the whole season in two days. Yes, it's a bit cheesy and weird with all the relationship drama, and twists, but somehow they make the boat float. It's not a deep show, and there is a lot of room for improvment. But ending the season I'm actually curious to see how it will play out in all the different relationships. To sum it all up, it's a good show if you just want to watch something in between shows, and not think so much whilst doing it. I have a hunch that season two will be better aswell.

Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
A great ending...
I was ready to get disappointed as the impression of season 8 was poor from the start, eventhough it has had some great moments. I was happily surprised and emotionally touched by this episode. It was great to see Arya, Sansa and Jon step up to their true selfs and show how much strenght and wisdom they've gained and mostly how they've found peace within themselves. Brandon as king was also a perfect surprise, who else is better to rule than a spiritually connected being. :) I am happy game of thrones got to remain the best series of my life. 💚
