Army of the Dead (2021)
Oh, Snyder.
I expected a lot more from him. I don't like all Snyder movies but after the Snyder Cut and the absolutely gorgeous trailer for this movie, I was so damn excited for this. But the movie is bad and offers only some good cinematography.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
I liked it.
The final episode was cringy at times. But the last few scenes were really emotional and good. The series done gave action priorities to Sam and emotional priorities to Bucky. Now that's two good series from MCU.
The Father (2020)
Devastating.
Wow. What a terrifying movie. Give that Oscar to Anthony Hopkins already. We shouldn't even compare.
Nayattu (2021)
The ending could've been better.
Nayattu is a good movie till the end. I didn't like the last 15 minutes and how they decided to end this chase. Still it's a great movue. Great performances from the lead three. Nimisha Sajayan is without a doubt, the best actress in Mollywood right now.
Shiva Baby (2020)
One of the best Indies I have ever watched.
Shiva Baby is so funny, dark and thrilling at the same time. Great performances and direction. Shiva Baby correctly captures a confused Jewish girl I guess, I'm not Jewish.
Joji (2021)
Bloody hell.
What a movie. Pothettan outsmarted himself. I can't convey how good this movie is in words. You should just experience it.
The Map of Tiny Perfect Things (2021)
Tiny perfect movie.
This movie has perfect moments which made me so happy. It's Palm Springs with teenagers but good as it nevertheless.
Irul (2021)
Half baked.
I don't know why they tried to finish it off as soon as they can. There were so many unanswered questions which left the film without any sense. Fahadh Faasil and Darshana was good. Soubin was good but I don't think his casting was good. Good cinematography and music. But as a whole, Irul is a let down.
Kala (2021)
Ultimate chaos.
Don't mind the rating. In some parts it's so much more than the rating I gave. But in some, it's not. Kala should be watched in theatres, if you're planning to watch this movie. Good performance by the hero (it's not who you think it is).
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Watched it like a kid who's hearing his bedtime story.
What a different film. What a vision. This is the Justice League I wanted. This is the Justice League I hope I'll get in the future.
WandaVision (2021)
A disappointing finale compared with other episodes.
But still, WandaVision was really good. It was so entertaining and one of the best things produced by Marvel. It proved that Marvel will go strong as ever after Endgame and their series plans are no joke. Elizabeth Olsen is the very underrated and she stole the whole show and our hearts with ease. More like this please Disney.
Riverdale: Chapter Seventy-Nine: Graduation (2021)
The best Riverdale episode in a long time.
The feeeellzzzz. I was heart broken. But I'm of the opinion that this should've been the finale. What a way would have been it to end.
Nomadland (2020)
Chloe Zhao made a beautiful movie.
I love road movies. It teaches us many lessons and Nomadland is exactly that. It's a beautiful movie with beautiful performances. Enough said.
Master (2021)
The usual.
Lokesh Kanagaraj didn't bring anything new to the Vijay Cinematic Universe. Makkal Selvan>>>>Thalapathy in this.
Soul (2020)
Melted my SOUL.
This is Pixar back on top form. One of their best entries to date and I love movies with good life lessons. Pete Docter now should be considered one of the best directors now around.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Disappointing.
I really wanted to like this because of any reasons like I liked the first part, Gal Gadot is one of the most beautiful woman on Earth, I have soft spot for DC movies and I loved the trailer and posters. But ultimately, WW84 was a badly made movie with just one or two memorable moments. I really hope that the upcoming DC movies will be better than this.
Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You (2020)
God is a woman.
I love Ariana and her live stage performance is lit.
The Ripper (2020)
A great thriller docuseries.
Watching The Ripper made me think about Mindhunter. It's definitely not as good as Mindhunter but it's good. At times we may get bored but overall it's a pretty good documentary. I don't want to talk anything about that coward and may he rot in hell.
Paava Kadhaigal (2020)
How Vetrimaaran stands above all.
Watching this will make understand why Vetrimaaran is one of the best director in Indian cinema. None of the other episodes made as impact as his episode. The quality his episode provided with respect of other episodes was huge. All the performances were great. 1st episode by Sudha Kongara was okay with a great performance by Kalidas Jayaram. 2nd episode sucked and I didn't like the performances too. 3rd episode by GVM was also disappointing. Then comes the master Vetrimaaran with his heartbreaking final episode which will steal our heart.
I'm Your Woman (2020)
Strong performances.
Even the baby did a great performance. I'm a Rachel Brosnahan stan now. The film could've been better but I'm satisfied with what I saw.
Black Bear (2020)
Have-your-own-interpreration movie.
My first thoughts were I didn't understand anything. But after watching interviews, I understood this is something we can make of ourselves. The movie is not perfect but Aubrey Plaza is.
Euphoria: Trouble Don't Last Always (2020)
Life lessons Euphoria way.
Wow. Euphoria full gone Before trilogy. More more more.
Happiest Season (2020)
Beautiful movie.
A movie that you can really enjoy. Christmas or not. Gay or not.
And I haven't seen Kristen Stewart this attractive before.
Mank (2020)
Fincher the great.
Mank is one of the most fincherisque movie he made eventhough the plot is not similiar to his usual ones. Great performances by everyone and great cinematography. Overall, I loved it.
Taylor Swift: Folklore - The Long Pond Studio Sessions (2020)
Oh Taylor.
Greatest artist of all time? Maybe. More albums like folklore please.
