The Ransom of Red Chief (1998)
Feel-good movie
I thought this movie was indeed a little bland at points, but overall it's a good movie to watch, sitting at home with your family, and gives a sense of warmth into the picture. I have always liked Christopher Lloyd (Back to The Future, Dennis The Menace, etc.) and I feel that he has done well in this movie. Haley Joel Osment (I'll Remember April, The Sixth Sense, Forrest Gump etc.) has always been one of my favourite child-actors, (next to Trevor Morgan of course), and does an explicitly wonderful job. I can admit, maybe he was a little too soft and, the little boy he played, is anything but nice. A dastardly, mischievous, little wretch, who enjoys nothing more than breaking the rules, (and no, no-one imagined Alex Linz playing the role of the little boy in a previous movie, he did, and played the role with much more trouble in him) but, I can say, that I did enjoy this movie immensely. And so did my kids, sat through it and watched it the whole way through without any interruptions. (Which is actually quite of a miracle, because usually all they enjoy watching is cartoons and The Disney Channel). I say well done, apart from the mishaps, and unfortunate casting in some parts (that I won't mention) a feel-good movie that I enjoyed, and would watch again! Also, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a little mischief, and also, quite some feeling.
Rove Live (2000)
Excellent!
Of course Rove Macmanis is the most talented comedian around today. Of course he brings hummer into everything! He's Australian! What the...? has been getting a bit repetitive lately, I do agree, but Rove does make up for all that faulty hummer by expressing natural hummer, and making people laugh! I, personally, never miss a show! I find it hilarious! My kids (who are only 7, 10 and 14) also watch the show with me, and despite their ages, find it easy to know what he means, because he makes it so understandable! He's a fantastic host, and has really made that show what it is today! Thanks...

Genius (1999)
One of their best movies so far!
Usually, Disney characters have never had much appeal to me. If I ever saw a Disney movie come on screen in my house, I admit I automatically wouldn't hesitate to change the channel. When I was younger, and much more naive, I used to believe all that soppy, lovey-dovey crap that Disney used to feed me, but now I'm much older and more mature, I think Disney's new 'modern' shows and movies suck. However, I was watching television with my young sister, and she flicked the channel over to Disney when I went to get her a drink. When I came back...soft music started coming on and the title for this movie 'Genius' came on, and then the credits showed that this movie was made by Disney. As you can imagine, my first reaction was 'Change the Channel, quickly!' but my sister, who is only eight, insisted that we watch this movie. Me, being older, decided that one little Disney movie couldn't hurt, and I was supposed to be looking after her, so it would be best not to fight. And hey, I thought, I could always walk out of the room or fall asleep if it got too bad. Anywho, I started watching the movie, and, as it went along, I became more interested in the whole plot of things. The storyline was great, and the characters suited their on-screen characters so well. Trevor Morgan as Charlie was perfect! He plays his character so well...and overall the movie was fantastic. My sister and I were laughing so hard, and I actually enjoyed it so much, I went straight on the Internet and bought it off the Internet. It's by far the best movies Disney ever made, and I take my hat off to them. Two thumbs up guys!
