The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy (2024)
Random but good
Even though it has some random humor, it is actually good with well done aesthetic animation and so colorful which it will give you Rick and Morty vibes. These two doctors, Sleach and Klak encounter serious situations in the medical field whether it is life threatening or risking their lives in jeopardy. There are some disturbing moments but of course, it's the medical industry so be expected of that, but the choices of color in the animation make it not so graphic and more pleasant to see, like torquoise liquid splattering all over if someone exploded or a birth disaster involving an interesting color of womb juice, the colors make it interesting to watch. The Characters are in aesthetic colors as well. I'm hoping this series would last at least a couple of more seasons because of some of the low star ratings for it, and only its first season and 8 episodes, we'll see if it does or not.
Welcome to Willits (2016)
What Reeks?
Oh right, this movie. I checked it out with some family members because it was where I live in Northern California so I was eager to check it out. I thought it was going to be a good thriller but it wasn't! This movie really disappointed me so much that I kept wanted to turn it off. This film did not have a plot at all, they just focused on the brutal violence and the exposure of human flesh being yanked out of corpses, which was really gross. I really do not see a point of making this movie just to give a small town a bad reputation due to its population of meth-heads and pot-heads. Worse yet, due to the title of a town, it wasn't even filmed in Willits! It was filmed somewhere else in Louisiana, and Willits is NOT located in Louisiana! If they plan to make a movie giving a small town a bad name, at least film it in the right location, instead they just added the image of the Willits sign in the intro, and then the rest of the filming was in Louisiana.
The Cable Guy (1996)
Ferris Bueller Being Antagonized
It's funny seeing Matthew Broderick playing a guy with Jim Carey being the Antagonist to him. After seeing Ferris Bueller being the antagonist to Alan Ruck's Cameron character, and then seeing him in The Cable Guy, being the protagonist. So Chip (The cable guy) helps Steven (Matthew Broderick) with his relationship with his girl (Leslie Mann) because they were having problems with their relationship. So Steven got a new apartment, and he called up Chip to install his cable. But then this extremely lonesome cable guy started prying over Steven and started stalking him to where he was affecting Steven's life. But apparently he fixed their relationship.
That '70s Show (1998)
Pretty Cool
I like the way they included the 90's humor into this show making it more 70's modern. It definitely represents that 70's culture of sex, drugs and Rock n Roll (The good stuff) each individual episode was worth watching. Kinda interesting, the actress who played the mom, she appeared in a Seinfeld episode where she was talking to him too much before his comedian performance, and she was busting his chops so much that Seinfeld felt puzzled on stage and disoriented because of her. But That 70's show, her role of Mrs Foreman is where her career was iconic. I think each actor/actress in that show was the base of their career and went on further, like Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, and maybe Topher Grace. Right after Netflix took this show off, I went ahead and bought the series on Amazon so I have my own physical Copy of it, suck on that Netflix!
Free Guy (2021)
Better Than I Thought
At first, I was having doubts about this film because it was supposed to seem like a dystopian cyberpunk setting with somber dialogue but It was totally unexpected in a positive way! It definitely had the Ryan Reynolds humor and it was fun and worth watching. From watching Deadpool, you would know what dialogue phase to expect with Ryan Reynolds' humor, that sarcastic, enlightening comedic main character just livin his life in a VR Metaverse, fighting off bad guys with meta machinery. It was high energetic with the action and everything. I would definitely watch again for the fun of it. I'd recommend sincerely.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
Better Than The First
I really enjoyed seeing Top Gun 2 last night. It was in fact better than the first one. I liked all the action they included to it. It was more action packed than the first one with all the jets they raced in with today's computer generated effects made it more realistic than ever and how Maverick got to know Goose's son.
The Batman (2022)
A few downpoints
The Batman was alright overall but it had its bits and pieces that were disadvantaging. First off, I believe Robert Pattinson was a good selection to play Batman. Though I did not expect him to play such a depressed suicidal looking Bruce Wayne which he had a different vibe than the previous Bruce Wayne actors like Christian Bale and Ben Affleck. Ok Pattinson, your Twilight saga's been over for 10 years and no need to put your vampire acting into this Batman series. Just the whole movie was a bit too dark for an average Batman. Secondly, Catwoman was too much of a drama queen. Kinda ruined my nostalgia seeing her in this version.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Really DC?!
Okay first off, the title of hero's against each other puts DC into shame and secondly, poor dialogue. And worst of all they killed off Superman in the end was the worst 2 1/2 hours of my life. They made this version to upset us in the first place. I would not recommend it at all!
My Boss's Daughter (2003)
Pretty good for a Zucker Movie
This movie was hilarious. I didn't think it was a Zucker movie till I found out in the end why it was dumb and funny, but it was worth watching. Obviously people hate this movie but they should realize Zucker directed it. The plot was great, and for Ashton Kutchers character, it was half-ass; he thought of going to the party with Lisa but ends up house sitting for his boss and Lisa's at the party with her "Boyfriend" Jon Abraham, "House Sitting? You've got to be kidding me" Ashton Kutcher, "I know it sucks" Funny hidden racism in it when it comes to Keenan Thompson. Some of the humor in it like when they stick their junk out their pants and pee on others. "Looks like we both have guns"
Ride Along (2014)
It was funny
OK first off, let me ask you people where the hell you guys got this 1 star rating for this movie. Seriously? WTF?? Did you guys even actually go and see the movie or did you take a guess by watching the trailer? 1 star? Really! Well I'm just gonna point out, in my opinion, honestly, because I saw it and all. It was good and funny nonstop. I'd give it 7/10 stars. Kevin Hart and Ice Cube are both legends, and they got together and made a movie that was funny and action packed. Think of them as Shrek and Donkey, Ice Cube being Shrek, quiet and serious, and Kevjn Hart, who is talkative and slightly annoying, in a good way. That's what it reminded me of. The movie was worth my $12.00 I spend last night and Im glad I saw it. So I hope this review helps for those who haven't seen it yet and you can forget about that 1 star rating thing.
Bad Santa (2003)
Naughty, bad and awesome
I think Billy Bob played an awesome Santa, in a homely poor looking "Eating, drinking, shitting f**king Santa Claus". I could picture Santa being like that if he lost his job or retired, just going downhill in life with the booze drinking and everything. My jaw dropped when I heard Santa curse in front of the kids and not to mention coming to work either hung over or drunk and sneaking a booze. The best part was when he came to work... I guess both hung over and drunk the same time, trips over everything and getting into a fight with a statue horse, (yeah, pretty weird if you ask me) while the kids were like OMG!! I was wondering why a kid would want a stuffed elephant, pink or purple. That kid had some issues going on with him, as well as his oblivious grandma who always passes out on the couch.
Teen Titans Go! (2013)
Boooooooo!!
I usually do not give negative feedback or reviews, but I'm just going to get straight to my opinion about this show. This isn't exactly like the original Teen Titans back in the last decade, this one, Teen Titans Go, it has nothing but weird humor. The original one was so freaking better. Not to mention it was anime. The characters were more better and they are in this version. This one, not good at all. I don't even know why the hell they remade this show and make it turn crappy. I seriously don't know why. I know Cartoon Network is getting worse and worse and all, but I'll be damned if they remake more shows and make it this type of humor. It kind of ruins my teen years by watching this. I was watching the original one on the Boomerang channel, as well as the new version on CN, they happen to be on one after the other. So I was comparing both of them and the original one was so fun to watch again, but watching TTG, I was all WTF??! Well, I hope this review helps and I'm sure everybody agrees with me, according to the other reviews.
Big Trouble (2002)
Very funny movie
Some of the humor was kind of corny but still a very funny movie to watch. The title fits right in the story, a bomb gets tossed in and in the end, everybody is involved with it, either wanting to set it off, or turn off. Then there's a war an everybody is in Big Trouble. Listen to some rock and roll music while watching the second half of the movie and I assure you, it will be like an action thrilling music video. Very good movie to watch once again. I liked the actors who are in it. If you are looking for a movie with some of your actors or actresses, then you would know damn well you will like the movie then. I think I've seen this one at least a dozen times. The humor is raunchy, funny and you will laugh till you cannot breathe. (So control your laughter) I'd recommend it to anyone who digs comedies.
Rocko's Modern Life (1993)
Good times!
I remember seeing this cartoon when I was younger and now, just by watching it again brings back my childhood. Its a funny disturbing show but surprisingly now, I realize I get the hidden adult humor they tossed in it and thinking back, kinda surprises me I grew up watching this kind of show, as well as Ren and Stimpy an Ahh! Real Monsters. I won't get into that because they are all so similar. But out of all those shows, my opinion, I prefer Rockos Modern life. I think it fits in for anybody in their 20s because it's about a 20 year old guy, Rocko who has his own place, has a job (but low budget), friends (Heffer and Philburt) to party with, and just anything common for a guy in his 20s. But besides the point, I love this show, I own it on DVD, finally and If you are looking for some comedy for kids or teenagers, this show fits right in.
