Shark Hunter (2001)
Ugh, Antonio Sabato is a joke
this is one of the worst movies ever There is a scene where they are supposed to be underwater and they are literally walking on land and they added bubbles! The shark is boring and is just this big slow computer generated silly thing. Antonio Sabato is horrible, I mean even worse than normal. How does this guy work? The directing is the worst and there is nothing redeemable in the entire films. I love shark movies and this one just disappoints. I've seen this studios movies before and everything they do has some star on their way down doing bad work. I'd rather see an unknown actor who cares about making a good story.
Target of Opportunity (2005)
Dean Cochran has arrived
Target of Opportunity finally announces the arrival of Dean Cochran as a full fledged leading man. The movie itself is pretty good, it's got a decent story, good action, it's fairly well directed, and has a high production value for a Nu Image film; but, the key here is Cochran. I've followed him through his lead roles in Air Marshal and Shark Zone and seen him in supporting roles in films like Phone Booth but Target really marks his arrival. I read that he was cast opposite Chuck Norris in an upcoming movie and think he has a new series coming out. It's good to see a film company take the time to build stars.
Target follows Jim Jacobs as he defies the CIA to go to the country of Ghorna to rescue his former parter Nick (played very well by actor Todd Jensen). It starts out a lot like SPY GAME in that sense but quickly becomes like The Borne Identity as Jim finds Nick has completely lost his memory other than knowing that he has left himself clues about a mission.
It's all pretty well done - now understand, it's well done considering it's a lower budgeted action film but it does more with a small budget than a lot of 40 million dollar films have done with all that money lately. I can only imagine what these guys could do given time and money.
I recommend this very highly for action fans.
Shark Zone (2003)
Great popcorn fun!
Shark Zone is one of the better Shark flicks outside of Jaws that you are going to see.
It's fun, there is a lot of action. The character's are well developed and the acting is good. Wagner played by Dean Cochran of Phone Booth and Air Marshal is great. He has great reactions and comes up with a funny scene in a bar when he's talking to the bad guy.
It's great to see when people come up with a decent, fun action movie without spending millions and millions on it. I'm glad I bought it.

Air Marshal (2003)
Not bad!
This movie is pretty good. Sure I know they didn't spend a lot of money making it (those planes were awful) but it's pretty good. The two leads (good guy and bad guy) were terrific. I recommend this one. Jack P. Houston, Texas
