Dave (2020)
This show doesn't suck but most of these reviews do.
I just had to review to stick up for Dave, wow some of these reviews are just not accurate. Loved season 1, almost through season 2 after reading reviews bagging out how bad it is. People need to get a grip, this is one of the most creative, well articulated shows of recent memory. Season 2 is just as good as 1, completely different so much deeper, emotionally engaging and strange but still a creative masterpiece! Sit back, relax, get weird, have a few laughs, don't look to much into things and enjoy. Can't wait for season 3. I love Dave and everything about it. Great show. (ps. Some of you obviously aren't comfortable with your sexuality calling Lil Dicky gay, that's bromance comedy bro)
Uncut Gems (2019)
It sticks with you
Uncut gems is an unforgettable film whether you enjoy it or not. I loved it but I'm not sure why, the scenes are all over the place, scattered, loud, obnoxious. The characters are the type of people most would prefer to avoid. It's just complete chaos.
Unforgettably chaotic. Artistic and Bold.
I loved and hated the characters, was engaged and excited the whole way through and never lost interest with what was on screen.
You could say it's as close to an accidental masterpiece as you could get. It's wild.
Sweet Country (2017)
Slow and steady doesn't always win the race.
Slow burners are usually my thing, though there were some intense moments at times I found it a struggle to keep engaged. It's a simple film, with simple characters and a simple plot. Some moments I felt were just completely dragged out and lacked intensity or intrigue. I expected a little more and felt like it could of been alot better with a bit more care. It was OK.
