The Terminal List (2022)
Violent
We enjoyed this story and the acting was very good. Just be prepared for a whole lot of violence, and a whole lot of "no forgiveness here" scenarios. Chris Pratt did an excellent job portraying James Reece.
After Yang (2021)
SLOW
This has to be one of THE slowest moving movies I've ever watched. Although it was a beautiful story and interesting it was painful to sit through. I actually had to watch it in several different segments at three different times just to get through it. Also it's very darkly filmed so be prepared to close all the shades in the room you're in.
The Royal Treatment (2022)
Please, and no thank you
I can usually sit through even mediocre romance movies but this one was just dumb. The hair stylists all acted silly and ignorant which is a shame. Casting in general was odd as I couldn't relate to a single character. Just pass on this one...unless you are trying to fall asleep.
Queer Eye (2018)
Please Stop!
Ok so I really love this show and have watched every season since it started. Also, I'm not anywhere near an expert on knowing what gay folk can say or shouldn't say or do say. But it's driving me CRAZY that Jonathan calls everyone "Queen" all through every episode. Is this really necessary??
Selling Tampa (2021)
Pretty tacky
So cute ladies but I didn't notice anything really being "sold" on "SELLING Tampa". And as far as the main character is concerned she sets THE worst example for other women to follow. And the rest of the agents seem way more into being sexy then selling properties. Maybe they're actually selling other things too.
Gather (2020)
Please watch this film
History isn't supposed to be a happy story. The problem is that people think the point of learning about the negatives that happened is to make people feel guilty. But that's not the case. It's for us to take collective ownership of mistakes our country has made so that we learn and grow. This film helped me to understand and grow, and it can help you too.
On Pointe (2020)
Just loved this documentary
Growing up as a dancer this documentary gave me great joy to watch. It felt like it was my own personal time machine. It's absolutely amazing to watch what parents are willing to sacrifice for a chance to help their little ones become all they can.
Mother's Day (2016)
Good grief
Talk about a movie that portrays we boomers as everything that's supposed to be wrong with us ... this is the one. Ridiculous beyond belief. An exceptional cast, worst script ever.
The Genetic Detective (2020)
A new way of figuring things out
Being a genealogist I really could relate to this show and this new science. People have no idea how much work goes into keeping family records, names and events alive What's wrong with one more way of solving crime and putting scumbags where they belong?
The Goop Lab (2020)
Don't Be Afraid of What You Don't Understand
I loved watching this series. The world isn't and never has been black and white. Give new ideas and methods a chance. Who knows, maybe one day you'll get your own miracle.
