Chamkila!!!!
Amazing Movie...Amazing Acting...Amazing music and Songs!!! The only one thing that spoils the film is NETFLIX!!! The sound is so compressed it's unbelievable. The soundtrack is what really stands out but had to crank my system right up! Come on Netflix sort it out!!!
Diljit is bang on the character Parineeti is the surprise package...the Punjab of my childhood is accurately shown in the movie too.
After Rockstar this is Imtiazs best work. He seems to have a knack of understanding the artists pain and dedication!!! A true artists director.
AR Rahman's music is outstanding as always!
For the none punjabi watchers the filmmaker's have put the lyrics on screen throughout the movie in Hindi!!

Art unites...how did Pakistan make this film...why did they wait so long before making this epic!! I am from Indian origin and AM PROUD that this film is made...I wish this unites ALL Punjabis east or west!!!
Keep the flag flying and watch this movie make it Pakistans most profitable movie so there will be more to come because my Pakistani brothers and sisters are TALENTED!!
Fawad Khan is good...Hamza Ali Abbasi is the surprise package!!! ALL the Ladies set fire to the screen with their Beauty and Talent...Humaima Malik is Scorching and untouchable...Saima Baloch and the Dance is Etched on the brain!!!!
Pakistanis be proud...Indians show the love and watch it...rest of the world enjoy a movie on the scale of any other Blockbuster!!!
Do Qadam Dur Thay (2014)
What a wasted opportunity.
The first 2-3 episodes were good. This had all the makings of a fantastic drama that Pakistan is renowned for but the lazy plots twist are so infuriating.
Nayab keeps lying to everyone about her situation so she keeps going from pillar to post.
When she finally finds her husband she won't tell him the truth BUT sleeps with him!!!
Zob feels so guilty that he thinks he took advantage of Nayab and runs off to Australia for 10-15 days without saying a single word!!
Nayab gets pregnant and leaves the house back to the shelter and says do not tell anyone I'm here to the manager!!
I give up!!!
