Forgiven (2016)
It started with potential
....it continued with a plot. I was wondering where we were going with the story. It was interesting. ....and then it became a christian redemption movie. It was like the Jehovah Witnesses and the Mormons knocking on my door at the same time.
Vivir sin permiso (2018)
Enjoyed with reservations
I have not finished watching all episodes but I am enthralled. A great series.
However, I find the gay son's over the top posturing and gay stereotyping detracts from the series. Really?
Spencer (2021)
Rather amateur and overplayed.
An attempt to prolong a "fairy tale".
It is called "Spencer" so, biased from the start.
I found all representations of histrocal figures almost comical.
Stay Close (2021)
I found it totally unbelievable
Maybe it was American thinking transposed to a British background? Some ridiculous situations and dialogue that is not credible. Some fine actors who I think will regret adding their names to the cast list.
Heels (2021)
Slightly different
Fraternal rivalry? Yip. Long held memories and flashbacks to troubled childhood memories? Tired of it. Sick of the genre.
I honestly don't know if every small American town has a "wrestling" league?
I am not endeared.
Two Weeks to Live (2020)
Disappointed.
I expected a well thought out British show. I expected a good story. I expected a believable plot. I was diasppointed on all fronts. A series that tries to be dramatic, comedic and profound in 24 minute "easy bites".
Departure (2019)
Totally unbelievable.
I must admit I had to binge watch the first series to get the solution. The more the story unfolded the more ludicrous it became. I expected an intelligent credible storyline. It has neither of those two criteria.
